What does Furys choice of trainer tell us about his tactical approach to the Wilder rematch?

What can this new trainer contribute to Furys arsenal in such a short period of time? I believe Furys Boxing iq is so good, he practically probably trains himself

Imagine the hype if he ever actually beats someone decent who is even close to prime.

Wilder is past his prime? Klitshko while old was undefeated in 20 defences, Fury bamboozled and confused the **** out of him stylistically.

Fury fought Wilder with two low quality tune up's coming off a 150 lb weight loss, mental health issues, whereas Wilder was not only in his prime but also very active in comparison

I think that this shows he is taking things more seriously. Nothing against Davidson but there was nothing he could really help Fury with tactically.

Wilder stinks as 90% on her say. Wlad was old and looked like **** in his previous fight.

Ben was fat camp boot sergeant.

Suga will be pure boxing and tactics.

Fury can adapt quickly, there's no doubt about that. His first and second fights against Chisora showed completely different approaches and styles. The best boxers can do it. Pacquiao radically changed his approach for Morales II and dominated., switching to the right hand.
At the elite level, and not just world level, Fury HAS to change against Wilder, and his Dad said the same. Otherwise he could get seriously hurt.
Fury is by far the bigger man, and yet throws arm punches. I.e. he doesn't get leverage into his shots. If he did, he could have knocked Wilder out 10 + times when they fought, every time Wilder threw a wild swing and missed. He needs to get in the envelope quickly, get leverage on his punches and knock Wilder out.
He also needs to develop his power more and transfer some of that belly fat to muscle. He can still come into the ring at the same weight or thereabouts but will have more power. He can change and he needs to at this level.
If he is practically training himself, he needs to stop. He needs to listen to a top quality trainer and not over train. Listen and learn. If he does that, he can dominate, otherwise he could get knocked out. It's in his hands now.

I would guess fury wants it to be a boxing clinic. He probably realises there's no harm in learning how to throw a punch instead of prancing around throwing backhand flicks for 12 rounds hoping not to get sparked.

As you Brits love to remind us, Wilder is a crap fighter. Wlad had looked like **** his previous fight and bamboozled is just a Brit spin on too scared to engage a shot fighter. Leading to the worst hw title fight of all time.

Fury was so Fat before he fought Wilder that he looked like he ate Ruiz! No excuses if Wilder puts him on a stretcher to the ER in these rematches but I'm sure he'll have several excuses afterwards as he heads back to the WWE Traveling Gypsy Circus Sideshow...
