Wilder needs to have a think about whether he wants to give himself a chance of being known as the best of his era, or he risks becoming the Riddick Bowe of his generation. Not necessarily a bad career by any stretch, but if the Joshua fight never happens, Fury beats him in a rematch, and for arguments sake Usyk makes a name for himself but Wilder never fights him either, that’s a lot of fights and a lot of noise for a career many would see as being something of a disappointment.
