GGG will be 38 in April, most likely he will fight into his 40's. Will he still be a force to be reckoned with in the middleweight division?

To me, Golovkin looks like he's seriously on the slide right now. I would have loved to have seen him in the biggest fights when he was in his prime, but he was being avoided like the plague.

no 40s even the greatest greats like 3g are sliding in there 40s.

Rather you should look at what he will be doing in his late 30s if you want to see his greatness. In the next few months you are going to see a series of his superfight wins and greatest hits compilations swell.

but i bet in his 40s all the cowardlike boxers who avoided him will now crawl out of the woodwork and callnelo him out.

They will be queuing up like they did with roy jones desperate to get a name on their resume. Disgusting. But they may get a shock.

He's on the decline already. Couldn't step on the gas in Canelo 1 to really make sure of the result.
Took punishment V Derevyanchenko and KD aside could have lost the fight. Fesher, faster fighters are going to give him trouble now. His power might not be enough now.
Top class fight but didn't get in against the best enough - for which there are a miryad of reasons

I just think the guy is getting tired. To be real honest. He was considered the biggest baddest guy up until after the Jacobs fight when Danny lasted the fight and gave GGG some fits thru out. Up until the Jacobs fight he was knocking people out left and right. Then came the 1st Canelo fight after Danny and he won that fight. He knew it, fans knew it. But got the draw. Then obviously the lose in the 2nd fight. I think it wore on him. Mentally and physically. And now who knows if he will ever get the 3rd crack at Alvarez. Comin up on 40 is a big deal for boxers. Challenging age to still be competing at the top. So I guess what Im saying is Id be surprised to see him in the ring at 40

    I was t
I was taking into consideration his KOs prior to Jacobs. And wether you agree or not, was a highlight reel. And someone who was knocking guys out like he was can be considered a bad man

He doesnt have a slippery style that relies on a high IQ

He is a face first mauler who wears you down and then KOs you. He relies on power first and timing second.

Once his feet slow down and this hand speed also drops you will see he is not the same force anymore.

However if you slug with him, he'll always be an excellent finisher, even at 40 and above.
