It's pretty sad that they're so many so called boxing fan who would after watching it over will still call that a knockdown. Some of you folks are truly insane.
Just look again at that fight. Tony had been sick, hardly had trained , was overweight & had to sweat it off ended up weak as a kitten. BUT FIGHTER that he was he wouldnt pull out. Then he was faced by that lying POS Richardson making ludicrous claims about "PLASTER BLOCKS " which the CSAC fell for & went in like the Keystone Kops & suspended him. Then for the straw that broke the camels back he had to face Steroid Shane Mosely who was juiced to the gills AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Margarito NEVER had a chance . But as Ive said many times before the "loaded gloves" BS was disproved when the lab tests on those pads proved they were HARMLESS!!!! Still it made a good excuse for your cowardly cheating idol Mayweather not to have to fight him Fraud was literally scared ****less of Tony. Oh & BTW I do not consider Tony a God I consider him a great FIGHTER!! & a heck of a nice guy as long as you didnt have to get in the ring with him Youre the one with the God you worship who is a cowardly ped's cheat
I hope no one is surprised by this. Bud because he's so good and has faced mostly scrubs, has lucked out and had nothing but mostly one sided schooling thus far in his career, but rest assured, had a ton of his fights been close and controversial, he'd be another Danny Garcia. I mean, how often do people have fair scorecards on Top Rank shows?
The 4th was very close as well, I just don't see how it was even after 4. Crawford was having major trouble with this guy. If Kava had more of a gas tank Crawford would have had trouble getting him out of there. One thing that impressed me was Kava's footwork and his ability to lunge in and out of punching range. Like his footwork was deceptive, and I think that's what caused Bud problems. On the surface it looks like Kava is just some basic brawler but he really was good at gauging range, using head movement and is a very skilled counter puncher. I think maybe Kava's stance and his ability to evade shots possibly is what tires him out. In such a low crouching "always on guard" stance like that, it can fatigue you over 12 rounds.
The one judge gave Crawford round 3 which is inexcusable. But other than that, the cards were only off a small amount. I didn't think it was a difficult fight to score 10-9-9-10-10-10-10-10-TKO for Crawford. Round 1 was close, but no judge in the world is going to give round one to the challenger when it is that close and uneventful.
You're a moronic sheep. No matter who says it was a knockdown after watching the replays is a liar, just like yourself.
I agree! EK would have won if Crawford hadn't stopped him. Too bad, EK could have gotten some belts and big money fights.
That's the rule, when both fighters reside in the same country you get local judges. Mr. Crazy Name happens to live in Oxnard, California. Maybe, you want to start with the "But where's he from reallys" and I would have to counter that Waleska Roldan isn't as American as apple pie either. Seriously though, that ***** is a cancer on our sport and it has nothing to do with her being foreign. She ****ed up Pac vs Horn. She ****ed up Gonzalez vs Rungvisai 1. She's going to keep getting these big fights until she ****s up one people care about.
Crawford didn't beat EK by decisions but he beat him by way of T.K.O. so there's no use to make more arguments about the score cards. Waste of our time. Besides, Crawford was better than EK in every dimension that night.
Don't worry, Crawford will get dethroned when either Ortiz or Ennis become his mandatory. Crawford gets hit far too much by the lower tier opposition he faces.
Crawford is overrated. He needs to show me a lot more to get anywhere near the likes of Loma and Usyk. He really needs to fight one of Pac, Thurman, Porter, Garcia, Spence next. Similar situation with Inoue. His life and death with ancient Donaire shows he has been feasting on selected opponents. He needs to fight Rigondeaux as a yardstick.
