He very well could be prowls, george is special and no where near his peak , he is easily in the top 2 i reakon, i havnt given it much thought, i will suss out the landscape and assess one of these days lol. zerafa springs to mind due to his opposition, his wins and his performances even in losing eg kell brook. His win against horn was good but expected so i dont read much into that one.
* Incredible 9th rd shades of Eubank vs Watson rematch. * The Horn had 18 million reasons to beat Zerafa. He is now set to cash in on a three fight 18 m deal to fight a trio of fights with Tim Tszyu. The dough coming from PPV and sponsorship. Depending on how the Hornet cut heal expect the fight to take place as early as March. Zerafa had how won would have fought Tszyu for a still lucrative rate of 3 -4 m. * Hornet promoter has revealed before the Zerafra loss Hornets camp were negotiations to fight then UFC MW Champ Rob Whittaker . * There will be no Boxing action this Sun afternoon at this moment.
What a night, another Horn fight that will go down in aussie boxing folklore and Horn proves again that while he may not be the best boxer in the world but he sure is 1 of the toughest.
LOL all Horn proved last night is that he is a cheating scumbag who can get away with whatever tactics he wants in the state of Queensland. Referee saved his ass there is no denying this.
The excuses were in place in the weeks leading up from the idiot above me and others who talked all that **** about Horn and him getting blown out inside a couple of rounds but Horn was clearly the better fighter on the night and showed his toughness overcoming Zerefas late onslaught and that cut from the 1st round that opened right up
A lot of casuals is Australia have their tongues in Horns ass like the guy in the above post. It is plain as day that Horn's team a rotten to the core and can do whatever they like in the state of Queensland.
U 2 are funny.. I have this mental picture of two guys standing next to each other but talking through a 3rd party also standing there..
Not sure Junior Tszyu is ready for The Big Horn, but if the money's on the table, let's do it! With four fights under his belt this year, two American training camps & a Pacman training camp, Tszyu has laid the platform for a big step up in class next year. I reckon Junior Tszyu will fight three times next year (he had an early start & late finish this year to squeeze in four). If they're all against Horndog at 154, so be it. They could fight three times next year in Sydney, Bendigo & Brisbane. They've both fought in those locations before & there will be plenty of State government money available to fund events in Bendigo & Brisbane. That's on top of gate, PPVs & other sponsorships. Kick it off in Sydney & hope like hell the first one is a ball-tearer (figuratively, not literally, although you never know with Horndog).
Yep I reckon Tszyu Jnr needs to get his old man heavily involved in this one and bring over some Russian muscle with him to keep Horn and his team of scum bags in line.
Dempsey McKean's promoter has just put a big post up on Facebook saying that Lucas Browne wants to pull out of their fight. Browne said that he doesn't want to fight in Aus and wants to have a few overseas fights and retire. The contract has already been signed and promotional material has already been made, a real shame if he doesn't go ahead with the fight. Disrespectful to Aussie boxing fans and also ruining an opportunity for Dempsey as their were going to be IBF and WBO belts (Asia or Pan Pacific belts I think, not sure).
