Kovalev didn't throw power punches and right hands because of Canelo's counters and it was smart tactics. Kovalev is just past his prime but still a top light heavyweight.

Another undeserved accolade first the ginger company man. I knew he wasn’t interested in defending the belt at 175 and fighting a guy like Beterbiev. Wonder who he will cherry pick at 168 on his way down. Maybe he will stop at another Caneloweight like he did in the past.

I’ve been a huge fan of Mexican fighters as long as I can remember. There was bound to be an exception at some point. Canelo is the exception. Good fighter but I can’t take the corruption and drama that surrounds this guy.

He is not a top LHW anymore. Anybody can see that. Anyone in top 20 would KO him now.

Canelo beats Pacquiao for the 2019 Fighter of the Year. That's for sure.

He didn’t dominate one and the other held a belt at 130 and wasn’t top ten at 147.

It is missing the great fight like a Hearns or Leonard or Duran or Hagler. What they did for each other, which would define an era. What defines his era? The two fights with GGG? Had Jacobs maybe had a decision against one of them he could have been one of the three.
