The two seem to get equated here alot. But someone can have the heart of a lion and have a glass chin and vice versa. The human body can only take so much punishment. Eventually, if Foreman would have been allowed to keep pounding Frazier, Frazier would have stayed down. It wouldn't mean that he didn't have heart, just that he physically couldn't take anymore.

I think Norton had heart, he just couldn't take Shavers punches. I think Spink had heart, he just couldn't take top shelf heavyweight power when caught cold.

Patterson is a perfect example. Always tried to get up. Just couldn’t sometimes

He got up all but twice. "SOMETIMES" isn't accurate here.

Amir khan is the perfect example of incredible heart with a bad chin. Too brave for his own good. With his talent and speed, if he worked on actual defense he could have been an all time great.

    David Price is another.

Adrian Broner has a great chin but no heart at all.

The reverse of this is Oliver McCall, granite chin, weak heart

Oh Tommy Morrison had a surprising amount of heart

Hearns is a prime example of a big heart but average durability. He actually, somehow, beat the count against Hagler. He looked no chance of rising. Sure he was in no condition to continue but he certainly tried his utmost too. He also somehow beat the count against Barkley against all odds. He could barely stand and the fight could have been stopped then and there tho it was OK Steele gave let him have one more go.

He was hurt in multiple fights against the likes of Kinchen, Roldan, SRL II among others but hung on for dear life, clutching, grabbing, leaning on and the like to keep himself in the fight. He was in big trouble against Roldan not long before he unloaded a terrific right hand to face plant him.

He also took on anyone and was desperate for fast rematches every time he was beaten.
