Right now, I'd have to favour Wilder mainly due to experience. Dubois doesn't have enough of it yet. He's definitely improving and will be a force to be reckoned with over the coming years. Give it another couple of years and hopefully Dubois will have worked a bit more on his defence and got some decent wins against top 10/15 fighters under his belt. Not a fair comparison at the moment.
Apart from 22 year old Dubois himself, who are all these other young fighters with power, currently or in the last few years that everyone here seems to be talking about?
I seriously doubt Dubois and Frank would get out of the locker room once the bomb squad barge in, and beat these 2 fools into oblivion! Your telling me the devastating bronze bomber couldn't KO Gorman and Johnson in under 3 rounds! lol
With anyone who has half decent power v Wilder it's who lands first! Wilders problem is his fundamentals are way below all the other top heavyweights. Dubois' jab would be unavoidable for him and most likely have him rocked in a round or 2!! Same as if he fights, Whyte, Joshua or Fury, unless he lands that lucky windmill shot he gets beaten up!!
Way to early to predict a fight between these two. I'd say let's come back in about 2 years and see how the land lies then.
As an admirer of Wilder's power I am objective when I say for newcomers to the board: Only 1 option needs to be listed for Deontay. KO. Nothing else. That is all carry on.
