Don't reckon Jr will come back down to Middleweight plus, I don't think this fight could generate the sort of money he thinks he's worth. Shame though as I think it would be a quality fight.
The Jnr that rattled Yildrims cranium is a handful for anyone at the weight, Williams is a very decent and tough fighter though
footwork footwork footwork. Williams has better than Eubank - he totally outclassed Hefferon with a little step to the side and a stiff jab and short right. Could see similar causing Jnr some issues - that said if it comes down to a war that would suit jnr and he's probably the bigger fighter and while hasn't beaten any superstars he does have some decent wins. Spike, Yildrim even AA is still competing at a fair level - not world class but he's still a work out for some fighters. If it goes to the trenches is Liam really up to it - is he a bit of a front runner - not sure we have found the answer to that yet - the Smith fights aside A good fight tho probably one we won't see
I rate Liam Williams, do think he's a classy fighter and he's looking good of late. Seen him stop Heffron roughly this time last year. However he's openly said he can still make LMW having only moved up for the opportunities at MW - so he isn't a big MW. That would be the problem against Eubank, I just don't think he has the strength to hold someone as strong, tough, rugged and tenacious as Eubank off over 12 rounds. I can certainly see him outboxing Eubank early but in some ways like we seen against Liam Smith, I think Eubank takes over after a while and stops him. Too strong.
I'll take Williams. He can box, jr cannot. Although he does have some size advantage which he could impose
He already has mate he is now fighting at middleweight, but your right only way this fight happens is Williams had a world title.
I think Junior will probably stay in America for the foreseeable now. He’s not necessarily earned it but he is in a completely different earning bracket to Williams. He doesn’t need that smoke. I expect Junior to fight for a world title next.
