This would be absolutely fascinating and fun. Neither guy is a cutie, neither has much hand speed, and both have big power. Ajagba might even be said to have a considerable advantage in power over Fedosov, but the Russian's is also no joke and his chin and technical skill both far surpass the Nigerian's.
..eh, folks are putting him in with Dubois already (and Dubois in with Wilder), so, transitively ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think Andrey would get plunked early (like Kiladze) ..and then get up and (unlike Kiladze) massacre Ajagba.
Fedosov has spent 16 years of his pro career to reach the level of a career best win over Lenroy Thomas. Now 33 years old he has lost any momentum he may have had with too many fights against journeymen and 3 losses. Two of those losses coming to fighters not even in the worlds top 30. Ajagba has all the momentum on his side and is still on the up. I think Ajagba runs a train on Fedosov and stops him.
Ajagda would fight more cautiously like he did against Demirezan probably win by UD. He only fought like a mongoloid last night because he thought he'd steamroll Iago.
As we saw last night, anybody with a chin and power has a banger's chance if they stand up to & slug with Ajagba. They just have to survive. Kiladze is tough, but not as tough as Fedosov. Ergo...
It's possible. But Demirezan couldn't and he's a decent scrapper. Ajagba can be much more disciplined when he wants to be.
spot on, I actually felt Efe’s humbling was imminent the way he was fighting last night. What’s even more interesting is the fact that he’ll likely land some really exciting and challenging fights due to his moment of miscalculation. Efe got right back up was never truly hurt and showed signs of personal self disappointment for his lapse. I doubt this is any real indication of his chin durability, it will be interesting to see how the boxing world views it and what his next fight will be.
Ajagba made a rookie mistake when he had Kiladze nearly stopped in the 3rd. He backed off thinking it would be stopped because of the chicken dance and got dropped himself. Had he jumped on Kiladze right then he would have got the referee to jump in and stop it and he would never have been dropped. Yes he was caught before then, but i think that is because he psychologically had written him off because of his run of losses. Kiladze is actually a decent fighter as you know, has a lot of heart and skill. Just not big enough or has enough of a skill advantage, to compete with many of the bigger HWs.
Efe actually got cracked with one of the crispiest right hands you’ll ever see delivered by Kiladze. It was heavy shot and Efe took it well....relatively speaking lol.
