As long as the fight isnt in Vegas & is well away from the NSAC &USADA Bernard schools Canelo like he did Pavlik & Trinidad. Nard was robbed twice against Taylor & Calzaghe to boot
I for one enjoy headbutts low blows and **** talking along with the textbook technique of a philly shell guy.
I cant take you seriously anymore if you refuse to acknowledge clear evidence of that being a lie. Prime Hopkins was actually KNOWN for the high pace he set... your ignorant ass posts make it seem like you didnt follow him in his prime.
I think that Bernard The Executioner Hopkins beats Saul Canelo Alvarez, by a stoppage in round 12. B-Hop would outbox Canelo, just as he did when he fought Tito in 2001, before the TKO 12 win. Canelo will be landing hard body shots, only to be met by the combos by Hopkins. Alvarez will continue to pursue Bernard, taking his jabs, and hard right hands to the body. Exhausted, Saul falls from an assortment of punches from Hopkins, taking the full 10 count. On the officials score cards, Canelo is slightly ahead, due to his effective aggressiveness, and right hands to the body as well.
Agreed, and Canelo never even beat the faded GGG legitimately the first fight he lost as clear as day and the second he deserved a draw at best.
I'm from the same city so yea I did lol...why cant you just accepted my opinion of Hopkins isnt high and I could see Canelo pulling it off. Why is that so hard to comprehend? If you've read previous posts of mine i described Hopkins style in detail and why i feel this way about him. You can either accept it or you cant but what I can do without is you insulting me over my disagreeing with you. No that is unacceptable. Act like a man and dont lower yourself to insulting me like a child
I think Hopkins would have found a way to neutralize Canelo's counter punches with his movement and defense. Would be a competitive fight with Hopkins edging Canelo with his own effective counter punching. Unless the judges give every close rounds to Canelo that is.
Also a bit nonplussed about the notion that Canelo would outwork Hopkins. Hopkins was by far the busier fighter in his prime. I do think that the Canelo that beat Jacobs gives the Hopkins against Johnson a tough, close fight, though. I might lean towards Hopkins, but I have underestimated Canelo several times already and this could be one of them.
You mean in his late 30's and onwards? Not often strangely enough. You have to distinguish Hopkins against Calzaghe from the 90's version. Shouldn't be too hard, since ten years separate them.
