Huck has pulled out of the Joyce fight because of a broken hand.

Yeah the Huck fight is off (for now).

Frank should make Dubois vs Joyce for early next year instead now for the British title.

Dubois would knock Joyce out in 5 rounds imo. Joyce is too slow and easy to shot.

I can’t make my mind up on it. He is slow and he is easy to hit but his chin seems pretty sound, his engine is phenomenal and his pressure is relentless. Dubois hasn’t faced anyone with them qualities yet and hasn’t really ate many punches so it would be a massive test for him.

Joyce made me a bad impression with Jennings.

Agree that it's a cracking fight. Get it made quick. Both fighters are ready to go soon.

I'd love to see it on the Fury/Wilder undercard but Frank will obviously want it for his own Saturday night show.

Dubois should get the stoppage because Joyce is wide open for the big right hand but if Joyce can get by six rounds, it'll be interesting to see how Dubois deals with the relentless pressure in the second half of the fight.

Fury wants it. hopefully a few others come out and call for it and put a bit of pressure on Frank.

It would make a good fight, but Dubois is coming into his own right now and I feel he would stop Joyce quite early.

Every single thing Joyce does looks telegraphed and in slow motion yet he's undefeated, never really been wobbled let alone put down and he has a decent amateur pedigree and experience in the game. It's a tough on but I think DDD would edge it, it would certainly be closer than the Gorman fight though.

Joyce's volume and (strong?) chin makes this very interesting. I would like to see this fight asap.

I think they will leave it till the summer. Both on the same card in February or early March then match them together.

Not sure how long huck is out for but that is straight forward for joyce to pick up the European belt. Dubois could defend his British title against someone like Dave Allen.

Joyces chin is granite.. However Jennings showed body shots are his weakness

Although I would love to see the fight, it doesn’t provide much of a measuring stick as we don’t know how far Joyce is capable of going. On the eye test he does look wide open but he’s shown a great chin and engine and got 3 fairly decent wins in 2019.

I rate Dubois hugely but Joyce brings the wrong ingredients at this stage of his career imo. He’s never had to adjust his pace or rhythm, he’s never been through adversity and we don’t know how he would cope in them conditions. He is built like a tank and as such, he has to be more measured in how he burns the gas otherwise his muscle mass will weigh him down. What happens when he chins a fighter and they don’t go down but just keep coming forward throwing shots...that’s what Joyce brings to the table. He works a fighter for 3 minutes a round and we don’t know if Dubois can work at that kind of pace.

He needs a couple more fighters before Joyce who will ask him these questions. Jennings, Hammer, Wach and Arreola are all ideal opponents to ask these questions imo and set him up for the kind of smoke that Joyce can bring.
