I like Froch...his fight with Taylor is one of my favorite bouts. But Froch has been put down more than a couple times by guys I personally don't consider having Ernie Shavers type punches. Canelo is as big a puncher as Taylor, Bute and Kessler, and Groves proves Frochs chin was vulnerable. Yet despite being hit very hard by Canelo GGG barely buckled mush less got knocked down. Putting them in the same ring isn't fair...Froch was much bigger than GGG who has never fought above 160.
Froch's chin is much more proven with his face 1st, take no prisoners approach. Golovkin was super cautious against Lemieux, Steven's and even the Canelo rematch where Canelo came straight at him. Meanwhile Froch was always In seek and destroy mode with complete disregard to defense. You can bet your buns that both Steven's & Lemieux would get wrecked early by Froch as he wouldn't be looking to pitter patter his way to a points win.
