When he moves up, he'll be just like Broner, even less power. There's no excuse at all that it took him 12 rounds to get a BS stoppage over guy with one leg who's never had a good chin. If that was Golovkin in there last night pounding away on one legged Amir Khan for 12 rounds, this site would be in hysterics. Taylor and Prograis both l've rated highly for quite some time. So this isn't just me being a hater even though I am a hater. Skill-wise they're both a step above.
He can't move up more than 135. 135 is his limit. I disagree, Tank is way better than Taylor and Prograis. Yesterday he didn't show it, only in spurts. Now if Tank goes the Broner route, and blows up and his stamina continues to look ****, then I'll give Taylor and Prograis the edge, but not by much. Neither of those guys are special. I see special in tank.
I'm talking about p4p. Obviously Prograis and Taylor are too big for Tank. Tank at his best absolutely shits on both of them.
What exactly do you see that's special about him? I don't see him having a prayer against any 135 pound champion or Hanney. Hell Commey would have a chance against 135 pound Davis.
Can't base that off one fight. Gamboa was motivated and wanted to turn the clock back. He also dropped Gamboa 3 times and hurt him countless times, I wouldn't say it's not there.
He wanted to quit after the second round the ref and his own corner ignored him. He took numerous flush punches and wasn't even really fazed until the fatigue set in. Gamboa has a notorious china chin, if the power was real at 135 he should have taken out Gamboa who had one good leg as early as the 2nd round much earlier with those flush shots that didn't even have Gamboa blinking until he started to tire. Haney, Loma & Lopez all embarrass Davis who like Broner before him want the Money May lifestyle but don't want to put in the Mayweather time and work ethic. No one trains/ed harder than Floyd.
Gamboa usually went down to punches he couldn't see or when he got caught in between punches. Not when he was on the defensive receiving them. If you don't think Gamboa wanted to turn the clock back and showed an incredibly brave and impressive performance, you have an agenda against Tank, and there's nothing I can say. You're entitled to your opinion, but Tank has a shot at beating all 3 of them at his best.
