Sky Sports News is outdated and worthless. Social media platforms have a bigger reach. There are many more ways to cross promote.

Also the same football fans watch BT Sports.

    What’s your research?
My research shows that BT PPV’s have done very poorly.

Absolutely not. That's why I never give Hayers a pass. He's not a genuine boxing fan. He's a matchroom FC nuthugger who has different principles for different fighters. It kills him to see a fighter he doesn't like in a big fight, never mind winning it.

I personally don't like Anthony Joshua. But I respect the man and I can't wait to see him in with Fury or Wilder. I'll support the event and if AJ wins, I'll be first on here to congratulate him because when the best fight the best, boxing is the real winner.

Exactly right. I'm far from an AJ fan as well, but if he beats Wilder and Fury, then yeah, credit to him for beating the best. As long as AJ fights the winner after Pulev, then as a Boxing fan, I'm happy.

Well please share the numbers. Skys recent PPVs have been poor apart from Joshua.

This fight is huge and the casual fans are all buzzing for. Anyone who wants to watch it will have no trouble doing so.

I agree that it will do well on BT PPV. My initial "twice as many PPV's on sky" may have been a little exaggerated. However, I'd be confident sky could do a good 25% more ppv buys than bt. It's a tried and trusted platform who only recently generated record breaking numbers.

I’m surprised I have to teach ‘The Genius’ how a conversation works. If someone asks you a question you answer it, and then you can ask your own.

If you choose to ignore a question people may assume that you’re talking out of your backside, which I’m sure isn’t the case with you!

BT sport never release the numbers because they’ve all done badly.

People who want to watch the fight will do whatever channel it is on and the term Box Office has little impact for most informed viewers.

The press were reporting that there are many more viewers watching on non Box Office compared to Box Office mugths.

Nobody knows the numbers of viewers and whether Sky or BT spin a load of bull regarding the number of PPV mugths.

I will be watching the fight and the TV channel it is on makes no difference to me.

How hard is it to look good against poor opposition though? Wilder would smash Scwarz's to smithereens.

He looked like dogsh*t against Wallin.

In fairness to Fury, he looked dog**** in his two fights prior to the first Wilder fight.

Also, Wallin, whilst not great, is a Southpaw who throws punches in bunches. This can cause problems for backfoot fighters like Fury. Wilder is much more predictable, in that he generally throws single shots or one-twos.

Have they? Dillian Whyte's numbers were good. Taylor v Prograis was what was expected for a fight for the hardcore.

To call them poor outside AJ is a big stretch.

Hearn wanted at least 20k more to be happy for Taylor Prograis
IFL interview i believe before the numbers were released

Pity considering the show those two gave

Yes but 20k more isn't disastrous. Like I said outside AJ the numbers have been solid. No real total bombs.

400k worth of revenue might not be a total disaster but it must have stung Eddie who himself admits love a pound note

Lets hope the loss does not put him off promoting similar fights down the line
