Tank Davis is straight azz. He better not leave 130. I think Berchelt has a chance and I don't even want to bring in the guys at 135 and 140. Taylor would whoop his ass. Tank hasn't fought anyone and hasn't proven himself against anyone yet. Now he has to convince me that he is the goods. Lopez, Haney, Loma. Can he walk through that gauntlet? Not after what I saw last night. Maybe now we know why Floyd held him back. If Loma wants him then you know something is up. I saw something in his style yesterday where he has major flaws. He really can't box. He poses as a boxer, but he can't box. Until he shows me all of his skills against a very formidable guy, he's azz in my book.
Tank isa special fighter and his punching power is for real. I thought he fought well last night against the veteran former world champion and Olympian Gamboa.
He isn't though is he. He is at worst a very good fighter. Could he beat Loma? no.. Lopez? probably not, but that doesn't make him bad does it. Boxing fans are really stupid at times. Anyone who isn't elite of elite is a bum lol GTFOH. Plus he is only 25 years old and still has time to improve. His blowing up between fights and hanging around with broner needs to stop though. I'd like to see him make some changes and fulfill his potential personally, but then I'm not a hating biaaaaaaaaaaaaaatch.
Well, if thats true I'm glad!. Could swear I saw them in a video together since then though. I might be mistaken of course.
Tank has real power at 130-135lbs. Unfortunately he's not skilled enough yet for someone like Loma. All he would have is a punchers chance. He barely got past a 38 year old who tore his achilles early in the bout. Let's see Tank vs. Haney 1st and then we can re-assess his rankings/ability.
Floyd won't let him anywhere near Haney. Too much risk. They gotta keep the hype train going until he fight an ageing name...like Floyd used to do.
