They'd prob be right. I hate seeing fighters go down to a weight we've not seem them fight at previously - or in years - to chase money.
Yea . i think he can it also depends on bivol if he decides to mix it up and not do the error everyone else did . Just jab jab jab
would be close fight to be honest.. bivol would need a KO to win though no one beats canelo on cards now.
Would be a good fight with Bicol coming down in weiggt making it an even fight or maybe edging it canelos way. Could see it being a good fight with canelo getting the decision in controversial style or a late canelo ko with bivol feeling the weight cut alot
Bivol beats roid head clenelo anyday of the week and twice on Sundays because canelo a fraud who gasses and against bivol his gas tank betrays him going into the second half and he fades late losing by stoppage or lop sided decision but he's not winning bivol so all the clenelo fangirls keep wishing but he not fighting any young lions because he a fraud
at 175 i think bivol beats him, not sure at 168. i think canelo loses speed at 175, enough to where bivol would be able to deal with it. at 168, i think canelo has a better chance of successfully countering bivol and possibly outpointing him. i would like to see it, i think bivol would present a lot of the same problems lara did, and i would like to see how much canelo has learned since then.
If he beats Bivol it's a good win as long as he gives Bivol the same PEDs and fights outside of his home hive. Obviously the business plan for Canelo is to only fight dangerous puncher-boxers when they're post prime and beat everyone who isn't a big puncher on the cards by not getting KO'd. So Bivol has no chance unless he KO's Canelo, which he almost certainly can't do. I understand fighters taking the rigged fights, but not that they fight normally expecting to win a boxing match if they don't get a stoppage. That's what made Golovkin's second fight so frustrating and Kovalev's too. Work the game out and go for the KO from round 1!
Bivol has performed better against virtually all the common opponents he shares with all these elite LHWs. In fact, he rarely losses rounds 18-0 Eleider Alvarez W12MD Isaac Chilemba (many feel Chilemba won) 19-0 Eleider Alvarez W10 UD Robert Berridge (no KDs Berridge took the fight on late notice) 13-0 Bivol WUD12 Isaac Chilemba (Bivol won at least 10 rounds IMO) 8-0 Bivol WTKO4 Robert Berridge (Bivol dropped Berridge x 3) 28-0 Andre Ward WUD12 Sullivan Barrera 12-0 Bivol WTKO12 Sullivan Barrera 20-1 Sullivan Barrera WUD10 Felix Valera (Valera dropped Barrera) 6-0 Bivol WUD12 Felix Valera (Bivol dropped Valera x 2) 23-0-1 Sergey Kovalev WKO7 Cedric Agnew 10-0 Bivol WTKO4 Cedric Agnew 22-0 Eleider Alvarez WMD12 Jean Pascal 14-0 Bivol WUD12 Jean Pascal Pascal has fought everyone and their dog and he gives everyone problems, Bivol is the only fighter to handle him with ease. He schooled Pascal 11-1 or if you're being generous to Pascal 10-2. Obviously Kovalev stopped Pascal x 2 so Kovalev>>Bivol in that one but that was The Krusher back when he was punching savagely hard, not the shot one of recent years. 23-0 Marcus Browne got dropped x 3 and stopped by Pascal 21-0 Marcus Browne was dropped by 18-1-1 Lenin Castillo 16-0 Bivol WUD12 Lenin Castillo (Bivol schooled Castillo and is the only man to drop him) 19-1 Sullivan Barrera WUD10 Joe Smith Jr. (Smith dropped Barrera whereas Bivol shut him out) 15-0 Bivol WUD12 Joe Smith Jr. via schooling Pretty much, if not all, of the aforementioned fighters have or had a significant weight advantage over Bivol. He was giving away 6lbs to Agnew, 5lbs to Chilemba, 7lbs to Pascal, and he would've been giving away about the same to Sullivan Barrera, Smith Jr, and Lenin Castillo if not more.
If Canelo won, Bivol would be reduced to a drained, zombie punching bag. If Canelo were to lose, Canelo was never any good because he got beat by a drained, zombie punching bag. That's what the Canelo haters would say.
Well Clenelo always has the option of fighting Bivol at 175 for the later's WBA world title. I mean he'll be fighting someone who weighs about the same as him again as he did in his last fight and if he's good enough to spark out the ''best LHW in the world'' surely he wouldn't have any problems beating these secondary, inferior LHWs like Bivol and the feeble Beterbiev? If he could somehow manage to summon the courage to do so no one could claim Clenelo was dragging yet another OAP from the old people's home or the geriatric ward, and if he was man enough to forsake the catchweight/rehydration clauses and fight Bivol at full strength on a level playing field he'd get full credit for beating a top LHW who was in their prime, if and it's a big if, or rather, seeing as we're dealing with Clenelo here, a gigantic one, if he actually beat him fair and square as opposed to him receiving another gift from the judges.
