All the more proof that a well-placed punch delivered in the right spot at the right time can put almost any man out cold. As for being amateur do you really need years of experience to achieve a knockout when you're genetically gifted with freak strength like a Marciano, Shavers, Wilder etc.

Middleweights are hardly small and Marciano would be considered a Cruiserweight by today's standards.

Not as dumb as thinking a shot, fat, old Marciano has any chance against a prime Liston.
I don't care who hit harder than Williams, Mac Foster could bang. Williams hit hard, thus proving that if any none-light puncher could KO Liston, why didn't Williams, or Patterson for that matter.
