My New Year's resolution if I made them, is to play conservatively and to win. But I don't make them, and when I have I never keep them. Because I'm too much of a primordial creature of habit. But for the first 3 months... Look out, here I come!
My resolution is not to wake up in a cold sweat on a sunday or monday morning knowing i forgot something - like 15+ easy picks in the league! although i must say my interest in boxing did wane these last few months.
I'd like to welcome all the new recruits. This is the thread you do your picking in. Don't get discouraged early, stick with it, you'll get the hang of it. And when you do, you'll love it. After all, a newbie last year @pincai won top honors this year.
Mine too, it's not fun seeing one of my favorite fighters Kovalev retired by the guy hate the most, then one of my other favorite fighters Gvozdyk bludgeoned by another guy I don't like. And a sentimental favorite John Ryder, get robbed of one of the year's most epic and defining wins. Demoralized is an understatement. But it'll get better, let's hope. We always have Joe Smith Jr tearing Jesse Hart's chin off to look forward to.
If it weren't for Canelo, you and I would probably agree on most things and get along swimmingly. We definitely do on politics. This league is great when it comes to putting away all the silly animosities this site brings out in it. So welcome aboard man.
Definitely. We come from the same generation, and more or less use similar logic. Is just when it comes to some fighters you become unhinged, but hey, no one is perfect.
