Looks like plenty of new players joining up so heres to another big year in 2020

Congrats on your winnings,The league from what i've seen is more about having bit of fun and having a sweat on the fights,especially big fights that we are watching.
I'm all for adding competitive meaningful fights but this year had plenty of good fights not added because they were supposed mismatches as well as heaps of included fights that we're expected to be 1 sided fights that proved to be anything but.
New players are already hesitant about joining because of having to pick fights they know nothing about and imo removing the big fights deemed to be mismatches and adding fights that maybe only a dozen guys here care or have any idea about would hurt the league more then it will help

 

Nah, i wasn't talking about removing the big fights. Mismatch or not - on paper. Of course the big fights should be still in the list. I was just talking about taking more competitive fights into the list instead of taking mismatches from UNDERCARDS.

I give you an example:

Tim Tszyu vs. Jack Brubaker event in Australia earlier this month. The fight was on the list because it was the main event.
Then the fight between David Light and and Trent Broadhurst was also added to the list. An one sided mismatch because Broadhurst is a quitting glass jaw who doesn't belong into a boxing ring (anymore). Instead of adding the fight the fight between Nathaniel May and Bruno Tarimo should have been added. It was a close fight on paper (almost pick em' odds on the betting market while Light was massive betting favorite) and in the end the "underdog" won (Tarimo). It was a good fight. Of course you need a good mixture between well known fights and obscure undercard bouts but overall you don't have to add a fight like Light vs. Broadhurst to give everyone an easy pick. Either scratch that or take the more competitive fight. I know this is a fun league, and it shouldn't be too complicated with picking obscure fights with unkown fighters involved but of course we all love boxing and in the end everyone has to decide HOW MUCH he will look into those fights to pick a winner. 2 minutes, 5 minutes or 20 minutes. Most of the guys here are fanatics anyway so no big deal.

 

Ok that's fair enough,I actually agree with your Broadhurst v Light example,the May v Tarimo fight was always going to be more competitive and would have been a good add to the list

Congrats on big year finishing with the 2 belts and top 5 overall,that dominant run as people champ may never get beaten.
