The real question is: Is Wilder focused for the fight because he didn't show up during the recent unofficial face off with the media
I believe he is 100% focused and hooking up with Javan Sugar Hill is indicative of that. I am now convinced he is going to stop Wilder.
I'm not disagreeing but trying to understand. How is switching trainers fairly close to the fight indicative of Fury being focused?
Tyson fury is unlike most boxers as he probably fight Joshua and wilder at the drop of a hat with hardly any training . Remember the wilder ring walk he was singing and dancing going into the ring to fight a monster knockout artist. I mean he had 2 average warm up fights against noddys and then fought wilder . Can you imagine Joshua doing that ! NOT A CHANCE .
I remember that when Emmanuel Steward was briefly training Aaron Pryor, he commented that while some fighters need serenity and isolation to get in the zone for a fight, other guys (namely Pryor) actually thrive when there is chaos, when their situation is going off the rails. Fury seems to me that kind of guy. Obviously it went way too far in the other direction when he went on that nearly fatal multi-year bender. But he seems like kind of guy who can compartmentalize his life to survive bumps in the road that other fighters would find too distracting.
To be honest, I’m not sure how focused Fury needs to be to out box Wilder. He just needs to avoid getting a haymaker
I think wilder lays him out next focused or not. Hope he does too. Wilder actually an exciting fighter. Fury is a cure for insomnia and we just had that for the last 10 years. He can be entertaining outside of it but so is broner.
he has already commented on saying he got stale was doing the same things with Davison so it can only be a good thing imo fury has the skills to win the fight without a trainer
Let's be fair mate, Tyson (unlike that w-hore) has at least earned his fame and is genuinely entertaining.
