If he’s American and Mexican, then I hate to break this to you but he’s not Mexican.

In his own words he comes from the Conquistadors(it was in the HBO documentary), I loved the history of the Conquistadors at school.

    But he isn’t “Mexican”.

What was these bogus mandated fights?

And what nationalistic bull**** am I spewing?

Canelo failed TWO tests which postponed the fight, he failed TWICE.

Non of them where WBC mandatories.

Now we can talk about Canelo’s WBC 154 run if you want prior to Floyd?

What had Gomez, Lopez, Mosley or the walking punchbag Angulo done to warrant a title fight?

You are a legit poster on here, a legitimately crap biased one.

Dude up until 2012 Canelo was a prospect with a title his first real step up fight was at 20 vs a shopworn vet in Mosley, wanting to prove himself he signed to fight the giant Paul Williams we know what happened with that, when I fell through he challenged Ortiz who was still thought of as a tough fight before he got his jaw broke by Lopez so what does he do he fights Lopez following it by skipping Floyd's undercard and ignoring orders to duck and fought Trout in a unification then took an L to Mayweather after that he fought Angulo ad Lara WBA Champ b2b who just had a competitive fight with each other has a showcase fight vs kirkland and finished his JMW career in a title fight vs a top 5 Champ in Smith for the WBO.

The difference between the 2 is once Cabelo got some experience he actively went after the best, GGG hid behind soft mandatories while finding reasons to refuse fights. Didn't Cabelo challeneged GGG to a non title fight at acatachweight in 2015 that GGG refused while saying 154-68 was no problem, that right there could have been his chance to fight a less experienced Canelo yet he balked.

Not true? Guy, are you trying to claim that 85% of boxers asked about the GGG-Canelo rematch had it for GGG? Were you drunk when you responded to me or are you just dumb?

I've been following boxing and met enough people in it to tell you most boxing "reporters" have a full time job outside of boxing and do not get paid to report on boxing.

GGG is definitely not Mexican style.

For starters body punching is always part a major part of your offense.. GGG only body punches shot fighters.
