I think the thread should be rephrased as "height doesn't matter". In all the examples it's a case of short but very well built fighters beating taller fighters .
Smaller fighters are at a disadvantage against bigger fighters by nature. Smaller fighters that juice their balls loose now have an advantage over natural bigger guys.
its that simple. in combat, its a disadvantage to be smaller. so yeah, it matters every single time. it may not be the deciding factor in the outcome, but it matters.
