Could Manny have become a middleweight champion after beating Antonio Margarito? IMO, he would have easily beaten guys like Sebastian Sylvester and Daniel Geale.

    Neither comes close with Martinez.

But both could have been a MW champ by snatching Geale's belt.

Yes he definitely was too small but easy to picture him boxing rings round the limited Geale. So could have been a paper champ at that weight nothing more

Geale is shorter than Margarito and has shorter reach as well. He is also light-hitting and chinny. Old Cotto just walked through him. I think Pacquiao would KO Geale

Definitely, like others have said already, could take Geals tittle. Shot Martinez was also an option.
Would be a title-grab for bragging rights of course, he wouldn’t be able to hold on to the title and defend it.

Perfect opponent, yes. He would grab the tittle and vacate.

Absolutely not. Pacquiao vacated the belt immediately and said that the weight difference was too much. Remember, there are LIGHTWEIGHTS (Linares, Campbell, Fortuna, Bogere, Duckvonta) that are BIGGER than him on fight night.

Pacquiao is the smallest welterweight currently. He'd be microscopic at 160.

No, he barely weighed 148 in that fight? Or was that with drawz & a boombox too!

Pacquiao weighed in at 144 (SIX POUNDS UNDER) and rehydrated to 148. Margarito weighed in at 150 and rehydrated to 167.

Does that even make sense to you? Pacquiao rehydrated to 148 from 144 for a fight with a 150 limit?

Why would he dehydrate to 144 in the first place?

Pac weighed 144 because that’s what he weighs soaking wet. He then weighed 148 fight night because he wore clothes for the weigh in.

There is absolutely 0 reason for him to put on 4 extra lbs in water weight when he was already 6lbs under the limit.

Rehydration only applies to fighters trying to make the minimum weight, not a guy who doesn’t even weigh enough for the weight in fight night.

Yeah you quoted my statement that he came in at 148. LOL!

No, he barely weighed 148 in that fight? Or was that with drawz & a boombox too! I said rehydrate to 148 in another thread I've been told continuously it's the clothes that moved Pac in weight on unofficials weight in.

There I'm told its the clothes that weighed him more,-thats why I threw in the boom-box comment. Of course he doesn't weigh in with clothes and a big ass radio. here I'm told it re-hydration -what I've been clowned on for saying in the Tank/Pac Thread. LOL -
