Of course they are challenges, but Pednnady Juicelovkin only fought Jacobs because he was supposed to be a china chinned cancer victim, and Canelo came with by far his biggest payday.

Canelo was scheduled to fight Dervy before Golovkin did and i don't recall anybody giving Canelo credit for taking on a risky challenge.

These are the fights that should be happening in the division. There's enough guys in the top 10 that should be mixing it up. Kamil Szermata is a non-competitive cherry pick.

 

Golovkin was a huge risk and challenge for Canlelo. Canelo had the uphill battle in those two fights , not Golovkin. Golovkin never did and never would take on a challenge like Canelo did when he fought GGG in back to back fights.

Golovkin has feasted on so many cupcakes that a top 5 contender is seen as a risk and challenge.

A risk is taking on a guy you are expected to lose against. Like when Ward moved up and fought Kovlaev after Golovkin ran away.
