It's very easy to hate on Team Nelo's officiating and rule-bending shenanigans, but just as hard to hate on his great opponent selection. Barring GGG and obviously a LHW champ like Beterbiev he'll not take on, Saunders is a pretty solid choice and a potentially interesting fight.
Well, Alvarez can now become a real 4 weight title holder. Expecting another close fight that Alvarez edges. However, if Saunders looks like he did in his last 2, he will get KTFO.
I would have thought ginger would go for Callum Mundane Smith which is lower risk given ginger can do what Ryder did ( fight compact, slip inside and bully Smith) but at a higher level for a relatively easy points win / late ko. BJS is trickier and elusive opponents are not ginger's strong point. But would be keen to see the fight.
Finally YES! This is one of my favourite matchups. Seeing Gingerbread get well and truly destroyed will be a sight to behold.
Great fight. I do think Canelo stops him though. I see why he is a polarising figure with the way he uses the A Side BS to gain an advantage at times but he’s a world class fighter. BJS has a tendency to fight to the level of his opponent so it will be interesting to see how he performs here.
Saunders had better come in at 10000% prepared for everything. He's been crying for this fight for years and now is his chance to step up and take it.
Here are a few more gems from over the years Canary (from when he blatantly ducked GGG by dumping the WBC belt) Culo Alvarez (probably made up by Puerto Ricans ) Clenelo (an obvious reference to the Clenbuterol found in his system in 2018)
