Good one George. With regards to the bolded i am always inclined to bracket Corny Boza Edwards with them. Navarrete is never far off either. Some real barnstormers among that lot.

A war was the only way Tex Cobb could win. My most recent fav is Orlando Salido.

Even accounting for the sometimes baffling choices for the Ring year-end awards, there have been fewer world class fighters who were consistently involved in stand-up wars.

 

Tommy Ryan has to be up there
