I don't know about Rocky not capable enough to carry Larry's jock strap (I have Larry #3 and Rocky #7 on my ATGs). But yes, Holmes was the better overall fighter imo. The loss he suffered against Spinks the first time (I had Michael ahead by two points in that fight, and my favorite fighter is Larry!) got avenged in the second (had Holmes ahead by three for that one). In the case of that second Spinks fight, I believe the majority agree Larry was robbed, and some of it definitely had to do with his mouth. Also, Rocky didn't come back and make a more than respectable pair of showings against two champions in his 40s (one undeniably great in the form of Holy...Larry had nothing to be ashamed of in that fight imo), and some folks even believe he won against McCall (I had McCall ahead by two points). That said, it's hard to get around Marciano retiring undefeated in my humble opinion. It hasn't been matched since.
Hmmmmm this is a tough one? What should we believe? Evidence on film or the most dishonest poster on these boards. I'll have to think about that.
Making fun of the way i talk ? Lol. Go ahead. I'm sticking to the topic you are a hater of rocky marciano simple as that
you guys are going to have to stop playing this game of trying to shut people down who come up with real facts to back their views as “dishonest”. Anyone can go back and read what I have said. It is not dishonest. It’s like “I have no answer, you must be dishonest”. Well no, it doesn't work like that. Look up what’s been said! Boxing News did pick Don Cokkell to win. Jack Hurley said Don would beat Marciano. Marciano did fight more opponents that were heavier than him than those that were lighter. For Sonny Liston and Cleveland Williams it was the other way around. They fought far less men that were heavier than they were and fought almost exclusively against far smaller men. Don Turner rates Marciano over modern champions. So does Tommy Gallagher. This is documented. Steward respected Marciano.njust look it uopp
