I think it says something that a guy can start boxing late, have very low skills and just go in and knock everyone he faces out because he has superior speed and power. Knocking guys out like ortiz who has boxed his entire life and has 100's of amateur fights and high level skills. Almost knocking out tyson fury who is an extremely hard boxer to land clean on.

Ortiz had his age (and health) against him.

If he was 10 years younger, or even genuinely the age that his papers say he is, he would probably KOd Wilder the first time around.

The best heavyweights are not boxing. They are in the NBA. Jimmy Butler and Kawhi Leonard could decide to retire from basketball and take up boxing. They would at that moment become by far the most athletic fighters in the division by a large amount.

Basketball fanboys. What about the Georgian super heavy weightlifter Lasha Talakhadze? He'd snap your two homey's in half.

wlad could hardly land a glove on fury and wilder almost had him gone twice. I think he's going to lose the rematch too.

Antonio Brown is also considered an athletic NFL wide receiver, now he trains boxing and looks awful because he is stiff for a boxer.
There is also a video of James Harden working the mitts and he punches like an old lady. Yet he is one of the best players in the NBA.

So stop this best boxers in the NBA bull**** already, it is getting old.

One body shot from Talakhadze would fold your hoop slammers.

Lots of people where more athletic, but that is just one aspect.

The CNS of a KO Artists requires absolute fearlessness icw commitment to inflicting concussive harm to opponents...while many humans are sadistic enough to want to inflict harm on others, only few humans are brave enough to be professional boxers & within boxing KO Artists are the bravest & most fearless.

    lol @ failed!

Being a basketball player is menial from historic POV...compared to Boxing legend
Wilder simply jumped on the opportunity of becoming a boxer & the rest is history...

    Lomachenko was a failed Dancer?
    Jack Dempsey a failed Pimp?
    Marciano was a failed Shoe-maker?
    Johnson was a failed Laborer?
