I’m a bigger fan of Tito but don’t see him beating Canelo. Canelo can take anything Tito dishes out and I think he would counter Trinidad to death. Plus, if Canelo finishes in his feet, his “judge friendly” style will win on the cards.

Your implying Redhead staying inside Felix Trinidad range, something nobody was able to do...

The 3 big solid guys who beat Trinidad where Roy Jones, Hopkins, Winky, they didn't even trade or counter. They used their frame to keep Trinidad at bay & punish him from the outside

Midget Red-Head is 5'07" with boxing skills inferior to the 3 Olympic Gold Medalist DLH,Whitaker & Reid.

In the 2020 Mexican meat diet era, Trinidad will be as fit as Canelo at any weight class

The Canelo of today, right now, wins a UD if not by TKO

You are correct. Felix only struggled against bigger guys who were very good boxers, the three you mention were great. Canelo has become a better boxer over the years and I think he would be too big for Felix. I was comparing roided Canelo to prime Trinidad. Trinidad would need a KO to beat him and I don’t see that happening. Canelo could fight a defensive fight like the first GGG meeting and win on the cards. I just think the size Canelo rehydrates to would be too much for Trinidad to handle.

This. Also to strong for Tito, them killer left hooks bounce off Ginge, that's if they land enough, which I doubt !

i'd bet good money Canelo gets a highlight reel KO at some stage mid to late at 160.

I agree with you. You at least need good lateral movement and a good jab to disrupt Tito's rhythm and stop him from gaining offensive momentum. But even if you do, he never stops coming forward like a terminator. Canelo doesnt have the legs to do that, canelo is a great fighter but I just dont think stylistically it's a good fight for him. Tito was one of the best pure pressure fighters of his era.

Have we even seen the best version of Canelo?

The best version of Canelo is 160 or 168.

The best version of Tito was 147 when he lost to ODLH.

    No

Best promotional effort (almost unfair to expose Ginger, as lots of $ & work was put into Ginger), but DLH can still make his money back by cashing out Ginger-GGG vs a new Natural Middleweight prospect in a dramatic fashion, 8 ball...1st round KO & the pain is over

As a boxer Canelo, would have been a JCC level 135-140, lots of Bernard Hopkins size 160 prospects worldwide who DLH can sign up overtly or covertly, let nature takes its place....Then GGG-Canelo can comeback vs Kirkland-Amir Khan-Brook and keep re-matching each other into the 2030s

Agreed DLH was the only Welterweight able to shut out Trinidad for the first 8 rounds, had De La Hoya been 1" taller/rangier he might have stopped Trinidad in his tracks. You can see DLH having to make up for the range by intense boxing that faded into backpedaling when the upper body was no longer able to keep up a perfect boxing clinic after the 8th round. Trinidad didn't understand pain, he only keep stalking with full-force until you can catch him clean enough to shut his CNS, you can't do that to Tito being a 5'07" small-framed guy

I would say Titi Trinidad however if it goes the distance in Las Vegas I would be wary of Canelo being gifted the decision so I would prefer the fight in New York or Atlantic City.
