The ultimate example IS Jimmy Young.

Young proved his defensive genius...gave us one more display of it...in defeat...in standing right in front of a towering, bomb throwing, peak Gerry Cooney...with blood pouring into his eyes..obscuring his vision,...and still he never got hit or hurt...came nowhere near going down. Needless to say how that bout would have resulted if Young hadn't gotten cut.

I'll do you better: Arturo Gatti, Danny Lopez, and Matthew Saad Muhammad were clearly better slicksters.

and yes cobra, Jimmy was blind for a round and a half, and at some points fighting back effectively. It was realy an incredible display of balls, will and defensive genious!

Mark, Your concept of "slick" and mine differ. Obviously, a matter of definition.
