Wlad was wise not to rematch Sanders and let Vitali restore family pride. He wasn't ready.

What makes you so sure? Louis, Lewis, Klitschko and so on we’re all more skilled and experienced that AJ when they lost and all had better trainers. Remember, back in Louis’ day being knocked out wasn’t the end of your career, but since Mayweather there has been an obsession with having an 0. I’m not saying AJ can’t bounce back, but it’s not going to be something overnight and if he loses again he’s career will be over. Joshua should lay off for a while, get back in the gym, figure out what happened, maybe even find a new trainer and slowly work his way back up to the world title level. The Ruiz loss wasn’t just an upset, it was a beat down, a comeback from that isn’t going to be easy.

Clearly. Joshua proved that the Fatman's victory was the fluke many of us thought it was.

The difference is when Lewis lost Rahman and Oliver had a punchers chance Brewster also had a punchers chance where as Ruiz is high volume puncher and if you were to predict a victory for Ruiz it would be decision but he was never given a punchers chance therefore Joshua should've never lost and people are overrating ruiz cause of his performance against joseph parker but he and parker are levels below Wilder or Tyson and all are on par with Tyson's little brother hughie and Joshua will get clobbered if he ever fights Wilder and fury will outbox him easily

And yet Wilder has cravenly avoided Joshua.

Other than Fury Wilder never faced a boxer anywhere near as good as Joshua I wonder why?
Man he won't even face Whyte who's his no1.

He “bounced” back , but I don’t think he’s as good as lewis , or wlad. He’s a protected product that can only win when everything is stacked in his favor , when he’s allowed to juice as much as he needs, when he has his personal ref and judges and it was like that from very beginning of his career when he got olympic gold after clearly losing at least two fights. In his prime he went life and death with ancient wlad, then next time he was out of his comfort zone was when he went to NYC to face Ruiz and he couldn’t even beat that short fatso.

Yes, Joshua went to New York. Wilder is the one who needs advantages, he's afraid to leave his home country.

The most protected heavyweight is Deontay Wilder. Joshua has fought much better opposition with fewer amateur and far fewer pro fights.

Please gdm prove this about Joshua (when he’s allowed to juice as much as he needs)
When was he found guilty of this so called Juice? I could say the same for Wilder but I don't need to go this low.

The heavyweight division died, when that juiced up bodybuilder got his grubby hands back on those shiny belts. I wonder if we'll see the blob Ruiz on the worlds fattest people's television program.

Lennox & Wlad had Emmanuel Steward, his influence rebuilt both their careers

Laugh all you want about about Ruiz but that night he kicked AJ's ass he totally embarrassed him. It wasnt a lucky punch type of win he beat the bejabbers out of him. Sadly Ruiz took a leaf out of Buster Douglas book & let it go to his head, didnt train properly & AJ managed a safety first run & hide decision in the rematch

Joshua beat breazeale and y'all was on his nutsack like he accomplished something but when Wilder makes Dominic look like a cabdriver it's Wilder still ain't fight nobody or it's Joshua already beat him yet all the guys that fought both say Wilder is by far the way better fighter and all say Wilder knocks Joshua out so keep believing but Joshua at hugies level as evident by the parker fight yet Wilder a level above just like Dominic say

I hope the OP is right. Not sure until I see AJ against a top challenger. Good news is we should see that happen later this year. Wilder and Fury are good, in fmdifferrnt ways, but are far from unbeatable.

I think AJ might have problems with Usyk, I say might because we really haven’t seen Usyk against a legit HW. Assuming Usyk acclimates to the weight and can move enough to avoid big shots from bigger guys, and not get KOd when he does take a shot, AJ will have real problems trying to box him as he did against Ruiz. If AJ has to slug it out and Usyk can weather the storm, Usyk wins the fight and probably knocks out a gassed AJ late in the fight.

I’m a Usyk fan but I need to see it (at HW) before I believe it. He’s giving up a lot of size and will have to rely on movement. He has very little pro mileage but is 31 years old. Boxers typically start slowing down around this age and Usyk will be in trouble if he loses his main weapon (agility). Small and slow did not work out well for my HS football team. Let’s hope we get at least a few years of prime Usyk at HW.
