I also saw on Twitter today that Jay McFarlane, the Scottish heavyweight is now being trained by Dave Allen. Maybe that's what he'll continue to do if he does hang up the gloves.
Jay McFarlane lost twice to David Howe, twice. He also lost to the heavyweight version of Nicolas Cage, Matt McKinney, I'm not sure if Allen is gong to be able to do anything with him, he's lost his last two fights and looks area level at best.
Don’t like saying it but jay is waste is space and just interested in being a celebrity than a boxer, does zero training so goes to train with Allen!!! He thinks he’s gonna get loads of publicity of Allen and that it
He'll get some publicity when he becomes a comical highlight reel KO. He's tough but the second he goes up a level he's going to sleep.
This seems accurate from what I have see too. Does not look a bad fighter and still young but seems more fame hungry than success hungry Had some opportunities delivered for him too - boxing at MSG early in his career, ultimate boxxer and always busy!
I'd like to see either of those two in with Darmani Rock, 6ft 5 ins of undefeated, 23 year old, 20 stone Philly cheese steak
It feels like forever since I last saw Dave. Probably the longest hiatus he's ever had. Pricey really did a number on him.
He crushed his soul. For some reason not only did he think he had a chance (as did many in here!) but he also thought it was a foregone conclusion. Then Price proper done a number on him, absolutely schooled him.
I was going to bet some wedge on Price and got talked out of it by this poxy forum. Fuming. Still haven't seen any rumblings of who Allen will fight next (nor Price for that matter). I'm happy for him to just fight the Bracimonte's of this world personally, they'll always be competitive
Dave Allen is fighting the famous "TBA" on Feb 8th. Seven months after Pricey took his soul away from him. TBA is there to lay down for Dave. Or will it be against a hungry fighter like Kash Ali?
It’s someone who’s going lay down. Hearn has said as much in interviews. Same route as last time I imagine. Build his confidence and profile up again slowly and then back down to reality whilst well compensated.
I expect Pricey to fight Browne this year, both have shown interest. Probably won't be next for them, though.
