I would love to see it too. Charlos get plenty of hate and criticism as if they steer the ship of their own careers. Bigger Charlo is a dog in the ring that is willing to prove his alpha status at every turn. Folks love to bring up an awkwardly skilled unorthodox Korba as his undoing which is a completely exaggerated although challenging obstruction in his career. Charlo realized his flawed approach late in that fight, dropped and seriously hurt korba towards the latter stages. I love going against the grain on this hypothetical matchup. I think bigger Charlo poses a real threat to ginger and could certainly stop him in his tracks with his speed, leverage and accuracy. Keep in mind I rate Nelo within the top 3 or 4 P4p fighters. Unfortunately, I’m not at all shocked by the lack of recognition Charlo gets, it’s all part of a very common theme on these boards.
Canelo should fight both brothers on the same night. WWE style, he can open the card facing Jermallo, take a four hour break, have a steak or two, then come back out for the main event and beat the brakes off Jermallo. He probably wouldn't even break a sweat. That would be epic.
Please, he has far more than just that. Austin Trout tapped both Charlos and got robbed blind. Too bad that no one cares about Trout(or that anyone actually saw those fights)
What about Jermell Charlo vs Canelo instead of his brother? What if Jermell moved up to 160 and met Canelo at MW. Canelo matches up better physically with Jermell. Jermell is more explosive than Jermall and would make for a better matchup.
Everybody wants to fight the money man that's obvious but when you content fighting bums and avoid any fighter that's not the money man you cant say nothing when you not picked.
I don't think Canelo would be personally beating up Charlo's fans, he'd probably just stop at Charlo. I would love to see this fight. Jemall's prime, he's got some chances and would be a live dog however long it lasted. I disagree that Jermell would do better against Saulsbury Alvarez though. Mallo's like the Vitali of the brothers, bigger & meaner.
