unlike the cry baby trolls i'm going for both 50/50. and unlike the sooks i don't hate either boxer. i hope tszyu doesn't get smashed senseless like i suspect he will. i still think both camps r just playing the media and that tszyu doesn't really want the fight at this stage of his career. i'm happy to be proven wrong. he can just keep doing what he's doing and moving up gradually making a good earn with minimal risk.
I think Tim does want this fight , he has been quoted as saying he wants to clean out things domestically before a world title shot , he has done that gradually against Camilleri , Ritchie(RIP) and Brubaker . Horn is his last frontier “Horn is the No.1 guy in Australia and I need to clean out Australia before taking on the world,” Tszyu said. “I have to beat Horn before I go on to bigger and better things.
they r just words. just cause he said it doesn't mean he's not just playing the game. of course he'd like the challenge but i think he knows its not worth the risk at this stage. but i guess if there is enough money he may just say well at least i'm getting paid well for such risk.
It's the only fight left for Tim domestically so its a risk he has to take if he wants to live his dream to fight for world titles . The challenge has been issued and the ball is in the corner of the Horn camp.
No as i said i don't have any problems with anybody outside the same 3-4 morons who seem to dish out but are unable to handle it without lying or crying like a *****. Like always you desperately try to include others to support you, even other members of your so called "Fab4" who i am able to have discussions with no issue, give some of the garbage you spew on here a wide berth lol. As I said if you have an issue with me we can sort it out face to face,if i'm not in sydney before hand I will likely head over to perth for Horn v Tszyu if that card has some other big fights as has been talked about. If you are unable to have normal discussion without acting like a fake tough guy online that's on you
You and that idiot buster are the only posters that cause problems with me. I don't get all this tough guy stuff you are the one who is always laying down these challenges like wanting to meet face to face or telling me to take a fight with Ben Horn I just respond to you. You are the one who takes things personally. You have no sense of humour and go on the offensive straight away.
Most fans outside of a couple of oxygen thieves in here feel the same way and respect both guys. Despite what keeps being said about me Horn isnt even a favourite fighter of mine but i support most of the aussie guys and he has been 1 of the most succesful of recent times
* Qualfying boxing matches for Asia and Oceania for Tokyo that were set to take place in China Wuchan next month have been cancelled due to fears over new flu like Coronavirus . Philippines looks like new venue. * Two proposed World Title fights involving Aust fighters mentioned for a proposed Horn vs Tszyu card. The name of Aust fighters Jai Opetia and Andrew Maloney. * Jayde Mitchell if he wins his NBS fight Feb has a big second fight lined up which if he wins it could catupult him into top 5 world ranking putting him a step close to a world title. * Paul Gallen reinjured shoulder and not likely to return to second half of 2020.
No takers for the Australian boxing trivia question? I'm going to give people the benefit of the doubt & assume I posed a dud question rather than it being a case of nobody knowing the answer. The correct answer/s was Troy (RIP) & Guy Waters. Both fought in 5 States & 1 Territory. They never fought in WA or the NT. Even Dean Waters earned a place on the list above having fought in 4 States & 1 Territory. That puts him right up there alongside Anthony Mundine. If Junior Tszyu fights in Perth, he may become the first person in Australian boxing history to have fought professionally in every Australian mainland state. I say "may" b/c perhaps someone else has & I'm not aware of it. Not a bad achievement for the young bloke if it happens. Horndog btw is yet to fight in New South Wales. Very odd that the King of Australian boxing hasn't done that at any stage of his professional career. He may be concerned that NSW officials will come down hard on his favourite combination - headlock with the left arm, pummel opponent's head with the right. Horndog has fought in WA before though. I wonder if they're trying to pull a swifty on Team Tszyu?
Good points Horn needs the refs assistance for his dirty style to work this is my only concern for the fight
As so many posters in the thread are from NSW i don't expect anybody to agree but NSW has always had a far worse reputation then QLD ever has had for dodgy officials and fight decisions. I find it strange considering how many so called top boxers out of NSW mainly fought from the safety of there base but all of a sudden a few people are complaining about 1 of our top fighters not fighting there when the home of boxing currently and were most of the big money fights have been has been QLD. Just confirming also if it's your belief that Horn needs the assistance of ref to win fights or is it a bandwagon you have jumped on for this big potential QLD v NSW?
The fact that Horn has never fought in Sydney tells you something. Queensland has always been a backwards state most people in Australia just see it as a holiday destination.
Yes everyone has blinkers on and we all have blindly jumped on the bandwagon, except you o enlightened one .
