I'm leaning towards Diaz 3, more chance of a win than the guys above so UFC can keep the money coming in compared to chances of him getting starched with guys ranked higher that have or are evolving their skills with time.
I don't see how Conor can avoid fighting either Masvidal or Gaethje next. Obviously Khabib is tied up with Tferg and then won't fight again for about 6 months after so Conor will need to fight someone. If he were to fight Diaz again who just go completely embarrassed and destroyed by Masvidal then Conor will look like a scared joke. He already just fought Cowboy who Gaethje completely destroyed recently. I don't see how even casual fans will support this. If Conor thinks he is a top fighter then he should test himself against other relevant top fighters. What a joke the UFC is becoming these days.
The casual McTapper fan only buy PPvs and watch UFC when Conor fights, and there is 1000's of them and that means extra millons for UFC, plus other sponsors know this so they also throw more money in, that's why Cerrone wasn't gonna win, if he did them conor fans don't come back and there goes millions of dollars for Dana and his crew. Gaethje did also destroy Cowboy and it didn't get a mention other than on MMA/fight sites. Conor beats the corpse and now he is the king and unbeatable to his followers and news sites. UFC will let Conor pick who ever and at what weight knowing they will once again make millions more. Diaz hasn't improved like the other guys and is beatable to keep the money train rolling. Gaethje is a big chance of ending that money hence why they won't let Connor near him at 155. Pretty much 99 percent of MMA fans who wan't to see match ups that are deserved knew Justin should of had that fight. They couldn't risk the money train going off the tracks again s they fed Cowboy to him. Lets not also forget what Tferg was doing to him as well. Cowboy knew he was gonna get shredded to the point of being unrecognised by his family the way Tferg turns it up as the fight goes on. he knows and admitted you don't blow your nose to clear blood like he was a tuff guy...Him clearing his nose was pushing the I quit button.
