This is intriguing. I think Norton would get hit with a lot of shots in the first two (at the most three) rounds, perhaps even getting staggered by a sneaky left hook. But Dokes would wind down (as he was wont to do), with Norton knocking him all over the ring by round 8.
Norton by decision but I wouldn't be shocked it Dokes got the decision. I have not met too many fighters, but I met both Dokes and Norton. Both when I lived in California years ago. Dokes I met in 1990.. He looked huge. Norton? I met about 2007 I think it was 2007. I cannot the place the year too well. Same time I met Julian Jackson, and I do not recall the exact year. Although I am thinking now. My friend drove there in his truck which he sold in 2007... April. So,, I had to have met Norton in October 2006 at the Hall of Fame in Los Angeles-right near LAX. Figured that one out as I typed. You don't meet many fighters here in Texas unless a big fight comes around.
well pea, I'm glad we cleared that timeframe of meeting thing up! LOL kidding you! Would be cool to meet them!
Dokes had a good chin but sure didn't like it to the breadbasket. That great conditioning of Norton and constant body attack are the wrong prescription for a Dokes victory.
