Im from tassie btw and even us down here with 6 eyes and blury vision from the cold can see that horn & rushton run qld with an iron fist full of cash, i wonder what other dodgy setups they are running from their garages/basements etc.
Your entitled to your opinion and I can understand you and others not liking how he fights but anybody whos watched enough boxing knows he isn't anywhere near as dirty a fighter as has been claimed. I don't claim to be an expert but haveing been in and around the scene up here for 20+ plus years i can tell that you and others are wrong about the influence Horn and his team have over the government here and in other states. The only pull they have is when it comes to them trying to securing his fights, which are big events with the state governments here and seemingly other state fighting to get and all willing to pay big $ to get events involving Horn to capatalise on his huge popularity since beating Pacquio.
I asked sandman specifically as he has been 1 of Horn big supporters in here and just wondering if his opinion of Horn had changed recently. It was a simple question but i look forward to more smart arse interactions with you.
If only that were true, people from victoria and nsw have been moving up here inrecord numbers, most people already new that but even a simple google search shows that your totally wrong as usual LOL
LOL at trying to compare anywhere in QLD to Sydney or Melbourne. What did you think of the QLD video I posted?
trolls gonna troll Theres probably is data out there to back me up apart from more and more people from down south moving here for better quality of life but if you polled neutrals who had spent decent amount time in QLD,NSW and VICTORIA and most are going to want to live in QLD.
Nothing better then a good quality interstate fight or sporting contest in general to get the banter going
Fair enough depends what your looking for QLD is definitely far more layed back,i enjoy partying in melbourne etc but tassie and WA are favourites of mine the couple times ive been
There's no bigger Horndog supporter on this board than myself. In saying that, I've followed Team Tszyu since the 1991 World Amateur Championships in Sydney. That's a bandwagon I've been on for 29 years. I don't intend getting off anytime soon. Geographical bias doesn't come into it for me. I've never lived in either Qld or NSW. I usually support Qld in State of Origin while I've attended many fights in Sydney & none in Qld. My goal for Horndog this year is that he fights for & wins a world title at Junior Middleweight. He's vulnerable right now though having faded badly at the back end of his last two. He needs another couple of fights to rebuild properly & get his late-rounds legs back. Junior Tszyu is not the fighter to be doing that against. They should match him with someone like Wale Omotoso instead. Someone decent who he can finish over the top of. As for Horndog getting a leg-up from officialdom in Qld, I think it's unlikely he wins the rematch against Michael Zerafa without the ref taking him to see the ringside physician in round 9 of that fight. He was gone & the rest allowed him to recover. That's just being honest. Horndog also repeatedly got Zerafa in a headlock & pummeled him with his free arm during the fight. The result of that was Zerafa being warned for dropping the head! Talk about getting the rough end of the pineapple up there in Queensland.
