He has beaten every boxer he has faced. So i’m not sure why you think he can’t box.

What are you talking about. He has a problem knocking out "elite" boxers but he has decapitated EVERYONE he has fought with the exception of ONE and that one person barely beat the count. I hope he Destroys Fury to shut up haters like yourself.

Deontay Wilder is the hardest puncher in boxing history. The statistics and our eyes back that up.

Hell, Wilder has scored one-punch knockouts in his last two heavyweight title defenses.

At heavyweight, scoring one-punch KOs in back-to-back defenses never happens. Wilder did it in 2019.

(And he nearly had three one-punch KOs in a row, but Fury barely managed to rise in the last round of their first fight.)

Let's see if he can make it three straight in February. I won't be surprised if he does.

BECAUSE he's the hardest puncher ever.

In terms of just raw power, he's obviously top 3 bare minimum. Im noticing that the naysayers aren't mentioning candidates for who they think hits harder, which is very telling.

Definetely overrated. His powers very good. His tactics and opponents are half the reason hes getting the knockouts tho.

Hes mostly fought shorter reached guys. That need to follow him about the ring. His nullifying tactics leave them unsure when hes gonna strike. Thats whats getting him the knockouts moreso than the power.

The few bigger guys hes fought have all been slow and handpicked. Fury being the only bigger guy that was decent. But he too was handpicked after a three year lay off and looking poor in his comeback fights. Even then fury handled his power well....at least till he tired badly because of said lay off. Wilder tried to knock him out that first round...because fury didnt need to follow him about the ring unsure when he was going to strike. He dealt with his power easily. Wilder was swinging for the hills...till fury slowed down....it caused him little problem. Hes a hard hitter wilder....but his power is overrated. It,ll go missing when he comes up against someone his own size just as dangerous as him....or anyone his own size with speed.

Yes, when Wilder fights someone his size who hits as hard as he does and is as fast as he is, THEN we'll see.

    (LOL)

Care to provide the long list of fighters who fit that bill?

    Joshua
Fury....match fit fury. Lets see if he can knock him out this time with his other world power.
    Hrgovic
    Dubois
    Whyte
    Povetkin

A couple of them young guys dubois and hrgovic....needing a couple of years. But theres game guys out there all different sizes that will give wilder a fight and show his power for not being quite as good as billed. Lets be completely honest....the list hes beat are mostly the same type....stiverne...breazeale....arreola...washington...molina...all super slow guys. A lot of smaller guys as well. How any one can claim him being the hardest hitting heavyweight ever after fighting the list he has is actually incredible.

The only real credible win is ortiz...who was/is a good fighter. Hes too old now tho. His reach was smaller than billed. Cant fight well on the frontfoot cause hes a counter puncher. He was another handpicked guy. A decent fighter ortiz but picked cause wilders style is a nightmare for him.

Added Povetkin...hes not a big guy but hes good at getting inside and bringing pressure...probably too old now. But lets see wilder in with these guys. Then we,ll decide how big a puncher he is. Chisora will test him more than what hes had so far. Small guy but wilder wont like the pressure. Its not that they need to be big...they just need to not be as slow as the guys hes fought.

All of these guys on the list faster than who hes beat. Hes fighting guysthat csnt move....making them follow him and bingo, ing them. Lets see when they can close the distsnce quickly or better yet....dont need to close the distance.

I actually like wilder as a fighter. His teams done an incredible job with him. Looks like a lot of reflex training used with that right hand. But he is handpicking these guys.

He may well be p4p too. I mean it’s also how much power you put behind the punch. It’s basically the difference between the people who casually punch the punching machine properly, and those who takes a run-up to the punching machine. Wilder is the latter, he looks like he puts everything into it.

Meanwhile foreman often looked effortless when he punched and so did Wlad.

That said, Wilder is 220lbs vs these 250lbs guys. And his last KO it looked like he wasn’t even trying.

I think if you took everyone’s Sunday punch, their hardest recorded punch ever, Lewis, Wlad, joshua, wilder, foreman, shavers - his is probably right in that mix and maybe top of the list.

But it’s levels, Inoue looked like he could knock everyone out with a glance from his jab but he couldn’t put Donaire down with a punch to the chin. Would wilder be able to knock out someone like David Tua?

The list of really bad fighters those guys never stopped is long. From sub-500 fighters like Levi Forte to Rahim Muhammad to Ponce de Leon. Hell, Liston, Tyson and Shavers all ended with roughly a 75% KO percentage. That's not great.

    Good Lord.

Joshua's already been on the floor five times. Whyte's not much better, having been floored by Rivas, Parker and Joshua, when he wasn't looking like total garbage against punching bag Wach. Wilder's already had Fury down twice. Povetkin has stopped one of his last six opponents (and that opponent, Price, scored a knockdown over Povetkin) since getting busted for PEDs. Povetkin isn't even better than Hunter these days.

And Hrgovic and Dubois ARE SLOW. They aren't fast and don't hit like Wilder.

That's your list? Okay. I'm sure Wilder will do fine.

There is no one around today who is as fast or who hits as hard as he does. Certainly not in that lot.

Dereck Chisora? The guy who got outboxed by Agit Kabayel? The guy who got stopped by Fury and Whyte? He's going to eat Wilder's right hands?

Yes, Wilder hates it when short guys keep walking in at him. He's only stopped every last one of them who did.

If Agit Kabayal can handle Chisora's "pressure," I'm sure Wilder could.

Hrgovic is your best bet, because he wouldn't charge in.

Chisora has less of a chance against Wilder than anyone you named.

He may not be the hardest hitter but I don't see anybody out there that wants to test that theory.
