Teofimo Lopez could be the new king of the PPV or in any case he is headed to be the new king of the PPV.

Canelo is the king of boxing right now globally. Lopez has a long way to go considering no one outside of boxing has a clue who he is. As Hanz says above, he needs to pick up some blue chip wins to raise his profile.
in the fight of canelo alvarez vs kovalev they had to delay the fight waiting for an important fight that was taking place in mixed martial arts to end. also the canelo vs kovalev fight had bad numbers compared to other fights. They don't want to take it out of Las Vegas because they want their image to grow in Japan, they just know that they won't sell the same thing as before
