My mate is on the same boat as you. He would love nothing more that Del boy doing Usyk, AJ then Wilder before retiring.

    Haha imagine that!

When I think about this fight, I can't get a vision of Usyk getting hurt out of my head. We know Usyk is a much better boxer but Chisora is heavier, more powerful and has a better chin than Usyk. Usyk is not impossible to hit. I see Usyk winning every round but getting shook to his boots somewhere along the line. Will he survive that shake? It remains to be seen. Anything can happen when a man is badly hurt. One more big shot could end it.

Yeah, one of the reasons Usyk does well is his insane stamina. In a lot of Usyk fights, in the first half either it's very competitive or Usyk is even losing. Usyk only begins to take control once his opponent starts slowing down. We see this in the Hunter, Briedis, and Bellew fights, the first halves of which Usyk arguably lost. Glowacki and Gassiev slowed as the fight progressed while Usyk got stronger. That he throws so many punches also gives opponents chances to land on him.

Stamina is not an attribute that travels up weight classes well in my opinion. He won't be able to just unload on people at heavyweight, as he did at cruiser, because of the increased firepower coming back. He will be forced to work at his opponent's pace more often. He could take the power at cruiserweight but at heavyweight it will be different.

I remember thinking the fight was close with Vitali, would have to watch it back but remember that being the consensus at the time. Seem to remember some thinking he could’ve got the decision.

So chisora and usyk have a similar reach to Whyte does fury do the same to Whyte as he did to chisora then?

Spot on post bud. Actually think its their main gameplan. They dont mind dropping rounds early as long as their getting the opponent working harder than they want to be working.

Maybe... thats why I always said Fury would cause whyte problems

But Whyte is a level above Chisora in all departments and he has already got experience fighting taller guys

and who said Whyte has similar reach to those guys?

About 100 commentators and professional fighters have already said Whyte has deceptively long arms.. lucas brown even called him orangutan arms

he also had a fantastic jab which cant be denied so all of the above will give him way more chance than Chisora ever had

Was not close - the plodding puddiing barely landed a punch on an old man. Easy night for Vitali and a very soft defence.

Haye then smashed the pudding at the post fight presser - pudding Chisora lost 2 fights on the same day without landing a decent blow.

Fair enough. Maybe it was a case of him doing better than thought and the performance being over-egged.

Fair play for getting in with Vitali and he did give his all that night - he was simply one dimensional plodding forward, landing nothing and his big overhead right is easily avoided by any decent World level operator.

He showed far more aggression in the post fight presser then Haye smashed him again.

They didn't look levels apart when they've fought.

Saying Whyte is a level above Chisora in all departments is ridiculous considering they fought twice and in the first fight, Whyte got a lucky decision and in the second, he was behind on the cards before landing a great shot. That doesn't happen in two fights against someone you're a level above someone in every department.

Whyte is basically a young Chisora with a better left hook and a worse chin.
