Freakish power.very dangerous fighter .makes other fighters perform differently cautious .One mistake and you are in trouble. His power and ruthless attitude is a dangerous combination.

Behave. Wilder is not the biggest puncher in heavyweight history. His cv,s built on guys that are basically part time fighters. Guys like molina. Who,s a school teacher. Even fury....who,s a good fighter but one who,s went missing for 3 years.

The heavyweight divisions in a transition period a lot of the good guys are over the hill. But how has he managed to stay away from them. The hardest puncher in history only started fighting anyone decent after 40 fights. Incredible.

Look at whytes cv. Parker. Rivas. Joshua. Chisora. Dangerous guys.

Look at joshua. Klitchko. Povetkin. Parker. Whyte. Ruiz. Again dangerous guys.

Then look at wilder. Guys that cant close the gap at any kind of speed. What good pressure fighters has wilder fought?

Ortiz and fury are his only two names. Ortiz cant close the gap. Cant fight on the front foot. Well known...if its not watch the scuba steve fight. He was also old. Klitchko, povetkin etc we,re old. But klitchko wouldnt need to close the gap. And povetkin is better at closing the gap than anyone wilders fought. Fury is a handpick from both of them. Fury has been off for three years. And Fury knows wilders not that good.

George foremann and mike tyson....just two names that punched way harder than wilder. They just weren,t fighting rubbish. That had to follow them around the ring all night. I,d love to see someone walking into tyson,s punch...like wilders opponents have to. Even the guys he catches that aren,t walking in....whats causing the knockout is they,ve been following him around the ring....he backs off...frustrates them all night...till he catches them off guard. Its his tactics and opponents that are getting these knockouts as much as his power.

Put him in with povetkin. He,d maybe beat povetkin at this stage...but unlike ortiz...povetkin can pressure him and knows how to close the gap well. Chisora brings better pressure than ortiz. These guys aren,t great...you dont need to be great to beat wilder tho. Where are the pressure fighters or the fighters with good length that aren,t super slow guys that can knock you out in his 40 fight cv.

    Punching Power overrated.....?

Only to some Professional Internet debaters who cannot even wrap hands.....

But it will be more than enough to put the Bodybuilder into a coma when he faces off against Wilder.fact.

His power isn't overrated - it's legit. But some people overrate the opposition who tasted it. The Fury rematch is pivotal with regards to where we place Wilder as a fighter, and puncher. If he loses, the context of all his show reel KOs changes for the worse. If he wins - and to do so realistically that has to be by KO/TKO - then he's stopped the only elite fighter he's faced.

It’s difficult to gauge, what I will say is he’s likely the most explosive puncher under 220lbs that I’ve ever witnessed in my time watching boxing. The fact that he flattens fighters 40 lbs heavier with better skills and pedigree must account for something.

Real power but I would like to see him to fight real opponents like AJ , as he missed on wlad and povetkin . So far his best opponent was fat overrated clown fury and fury is not elite and wilder couldn’t finish him.

    No.

Ridiculous how to suggest it is in my opinion, with respect that's all Wilder has really, natural punch power.

Just take his power away and what does he have? Everything he has achieved is down to his punch power.

No, it’s certainly not overrated. Is he the hardest hitter of all time? It’s up for debate, but there’s no doubt he’s up there.
Maybe we’ll be able to evaluate better when his career’s over.

Who are those elites you are talking about? He only fought one and almost killed him. Lazarus Fury, the king of gypsies.

No his power is legit. The way he almost put Spzilka and Brezeale amongst others in body bags is enough evidence that this man hits flipping hard. I mean he’s not skilled and that’s clear for everyone to see but the “his power bailed him out” claims from so many tells us everything we need to know about his punching power.

Of course it's real. He's the hardest hitting boxer today!
