Luis Ortiz x2 is his best win hands down. And Ortiz is a guy whose best win is over Bryant Jennings. His record was nearly as padded as Wilder's was. And Wilder looked awful for the vast majority of both fights until his power and Ortiz's lack of stamina saved him. The draw with an inactive Tyson Fury (which he benefited from generous judging) is probably his best result.

It's not much to write home about so far and not enough for me to favour him over proven commodities at this time anyway.

He lacks fundamentals. He does not have a jab or left hook. He solely relies on his right hand which is lethal. Joe destroys him. Wilder has the puncher's chance but I do not see it happening.

Wilder fights in slow motion compared to Joe. Talking about styles, I do not think he takes Joe's body shots well at all.

I hate to say it but I see this as a potential ko loss for Frazier. I'd like to think he can get past an early crisis and maybe a few Kd s, and take Wilder down. But I've a feeling that this is one fight where the smoke is kod early.

frazier's workrate forces Wilder to be off balance constantly. And without proper leverage, those right hands of wilder will not do much.

Actually I think the extremely low workrate of Wilder would not see him landing much at all in the fight. He'd be trying to hit a moving target instead of the facefirst opponent list of his. And Jow could fire out of that crouch while coming up.

how many left hooks to the body does Wilder take before going into his prevent defense? Joe works and Wilder poses. Sooner or later he comes upstairs with a left hook and Wilder goes out like Jimmy Ellis in their first bout or Bob Foster.

Frazier would be all over Wilder like a rash giving him no space to get his power shots off.Joe by unanimous decision

I think I'm in the minority who actually likes Wilder and appreciates him for what he, a flawed yet devastating fighter in his own right.

Frazier was a relentless fighter, not a defensive genius by any means but relentless. The heart of a champion, no one leaves the ring with him without having been tested.

Unless Wilder times a couple of perfection shots.... I see Joe wearing him out and stopping him around the 10th.

Could be a bit like the foster fight but Wilder could nail joe coming in ! Possibly a bit like Tyson Rabalta if Jose hit very hard .real war

This is a myth. One only needs to look at his bouts with Chuvalo and Foreman II to see this.

Frazier statistically speaking amongst HWs was rated to be the hardest to hit while dishing out a considerable amount of punishment. In “Ali’s boxing by the numbers “has Frazier (was a bit of a shock to me as well but not that surprised) As the hardest to hit. So defense can’t be to bad. Beats wilder in five
I’d also add Frazier beat Oscar x2, Ellis x2, Mathis, machen, Quarry x2, Chuvalo and that guy who was sort of good Ali. That’s kind of better then Ortiz x2 and a draw with fury.

A few are wrongfully comparing Foreman with Wilder as to how Wilder would knock Frazier out. Yes both are power punchers but stylistically very different. Foreman was a bully with a high work rate throwing bombs to beat the band. Wilder sets them up from range to throw his hail Mary.

I think ultimately Frazier is too busy for Wilder, he is a constant moving target and if he unleashed his big right he's glancing or skirting Fraziers head and that's when he can get it off, Frazier busy keeping him off balance and getting up under his reach advantage, Frazier keeps hunting him down and unleashing his hooks for a late TKO.

Wilder does have a punchers chance of course, but also if he came out like he did against Stiverne II, he might be able to upset Frazier and overwhelm him before he gets into his rhythm for an early TKO. But Wilder lacks accuracy and finesse when he blazes away and Frazier should be able to withstand the assault.
