DeJesus was a great fighter who had one of the 5 greatest left hook counters I ever saw. Esteban easy dec.

 

Not sure to what extent the hook will play a part in the victory as it's not typical what you throw against southpaws, and unlike many here I'm not all that sold on DeJesus. I still think he takes the decision, but it's fairly close.

The left hook is for sure the punch you need. The straight right is good but the left hook is almost unstoppable.

 

Actually, provided one keeps the lead hand high, the left hook is the more preventable punch for a southpaw. To the head, at least.

 

The left hook to the head against a Hagler Boza Moorer can be lethal and sure as **** is the punch of a smart fighter fighting them.

 

Steve DeJesus was too slick, to savvy, too sharp, and too Puerto Rican for Ramirez...much like Hector Camacho was.

 

Estaban. Lopsided fight along the lines of Ramirez when he fought Mancini. All he can do is make it to the finish line.

 

Why would you think it would play out like that? Mancini won the way he did because he crowded Ramirez so much and gave him no room to punch or move. That wasn't Esteban's style. Look at the Ramirez that fought Arguello, you don't think THAT would be a tough fight for someone like DeJesus?
