I don't hate Haye , i just think he talks a great fight for a man who has only beaten a polish journeyman in his sole heavyweight bout.. Yes he has made a mark at cruiserweight, but in becoming a decent champ he has been knocked out by a 41 year old british ex champ.. and knocked down severely in a wreckless title fight with a 14 stone Mormeck.. Talk about big things when you have big things proven, until then my advice is stay humble and let your fists do the talking.. Barrett doesn't need Haye to be honest , he has beaten better quality heavys than Haye has by a mile.. (Guinn when he was a someone in his own hometown ) was a very nice result at that time.. Beating Tye was a decent scalp, Tye was gaining momentum and he showed that he is a live threat.. Its the timing and nature of Barretts wins that make him a superior heavyweight on proven stats.. Let Haye earn his standings.. He is a great class cruiserweight with a sketchy chin, and a baby step heavyweight who wants to be like uncle Audley... a no body until proven.. Its Burden of proof......... God bless...

I'm from the USA and I think Haye is breath of fresh air. Why the dislkie by many?

    1) He's not done Jack in the heavyweights.
    2) His chin is questionable @ cruiser. I think this is the big one. How can a guy with that chin, moving up to the heavyweights where power is greater, talk so much **** about people that he's not even faced????
    3) People just don't like brashness, especially unprven brashness. I typically don't either but the heavyweights need a shot in the arm.

I hope Haye at least makes some waves in the heavy's, just to get people talking. It would be bad for the divisiion if he gets takin down in his first or second fight

People used to hate a young fighter from louiseville kentucky, who use to spout off at the mouth before he had proven anything.

People used to go to his fights, just to hope he lost and his name was cassius clay.

I am in no way comparing haye to ali but they are very similar in spouting off, what they intend to do:good

Undisputed at 200ilb lots one early fight in his career has kio'd all but one, which was only because he wanted to go the distant and has a real chance to win a strap.

Who wants all boring fat heavies who cannot be botherd to get in shape ?

Whats wrong with a bit carisma :smoke

Haye is NOT a top 10 heavy nevermind top 5 and i don't think he ever will be. I also think his power is overrated.

I think you are forgetting about Evander Holyfield and Dwight Braxton to name but two punchers at cruiserweight....

He is a novice as a heavyweight , and has never even done a 10th of what Sasha Povetkin had done as an amateur or pro..

His chin isn't even strong at 190 pounds..

Denial is not just a river in Egypt....... LOL...

That's ludacris. Im a Yank and Lennox is one of my favorites. Calzaghe is up there as well.

Haye is disliked because he talks **** yet hasnt done a thing at this weightclass. His delusional banter doesnt even makes sense:

Im coming for you. You better start running. The Hayemake doesn't lie!
    :rofl :rofl :rofl

Lennox would talk **** after beating his opponents such as "Hasbeen Rahman" or the Vitali fiasco.

As for the Thompson fight. U better believe it is material regarding his hw prospects as is the Mock, Fragomeni, and Mormeck fights. It proves he has a soft chin and vulnerable defense.

Just as the Brewster and Sanders fights prove wlad doenst have a good chin. The big difference is that wlad's opponents are big, powerful hws. Wlad has actually taken big shots from these guys.

Both have improved since their losses. Haye has become an explosive offensive fighter. Wlad understands his physical limitations and controls distance extremely well.

Now consider their stances. Haye keeps his left hand by his side most of the time, leans forward exposing his face, gives up his height, tends to lead with power shots. Wlad maintains a higher guard, leans on his back shoulder, fights tall, and works behind his jab. Now tell me who is more likely to get hit first.

Oh and as for Haye's handspeed advantage, watch Wlad's jab/right-cross against Peter, Byrd II, Brock and tell me what u think of it then.

The way i see it, Haye must attack early and catch wlad in the first 3 rounds. he has that puncher's chance. after that, the tempo slows and it becomes a boxing content. at this pt, haye is toast. If wlad fights intelligently, he will not lose. Wlad is a huge favorite :good

Not true. It's because he's been loud beyond reason without actually having accomplished anything at HW. Take Ali for instance. He was so loud before the Liston fight the whole nation hated him wholeheartedly. For the same reason - he's done nothing at that point. People bought tickets to the fight to watch Liston smack that big mouth of his. It was only AFTER Ali beat Liston and truly became the man at HW when the public accepted him as a hero. The moment Haye backs up his claims with action the hate will go.

The majority of people who dislike Haye have a favorite in the HW division and don't want their favorite to potential get upstaged by some upstart cruiser with a big mouth.

The majority of people who LIKE Haye are guys with no interest in the HW division who are looking for someone to make it exciting again.

That's the basic premsie WITHOUT getting into nationality issues.

Some people don't like him because he talks a lot for someone who hasn't done jack **** at heavyweight yet has this attitude that HE is the man in the division.

But I like him, exciting and is already calling out the #1 heavyweight, that's ****in balls.

he has one punch power at cruiser but at heavy it's an unknown factor against the elite. But a lot of people are picking him to ko wlad even though it will be a lot harder to ko heavys.
