I think Dubois close points decision. Dubois starts well early taking majority of the rounds with a late a surge from Joyce with his ridiculous engine to make it close on the cards

I'm a fan of both these guys and kinda wish they went on different paths but if they do fight then I'm gonna have to back my boy Dubois. Still question marks remain about Dubois chin but I think he's the real deal and look forward to watching him dominate the division for many years.

Oh, and Dubois to stop Joyce at around 8-10.

Dubois' chin has been tested exactly how many times? Gorman fought timid as hell, Fujimoto can't punch worth a damn anyway. The only real puncher he's been in the ring with that landed clean was Richard Lartey, and he had him badly rocked. Joyce will land aplenty, and flush, and trust me when he has him hurt he'll follow up, and with punches in bunches.

Yup fair call on the chin as it is my main concern with Dubois at this stage as well, but how does Joyce deal with Dubois' power? Joyce was also badly hurt by a Jennings bodyshot early on and Jennings is hardly a big banger. Jennings didn't capitalise on it however, where as if Dubois gets through he'll go for the kill and will look to get him out of there. His work to the body has improved after the display against Kevin Johnson.

We'll find out a lot about both I guess. Both coming up against easily the biggest hitters they've faced since turning pro. Does Joyce continue to march forward at a relentless pace after feeling Dubois power? How does Dubois cope after getting rocked by Joyce? does he try and slug it out like he did against Lartey and hope to back Joyce up, using attack as the best form of defence?

Fascinating matchup but I'm backing DDD all the way haha. I know you're certainly not on the hype train yet lol but I expect you to jump on board soon enough ;)

This is a solid cross roads fight. Winner will take a big step forward in his career.

It should be a good see-saw battle until the last man is standing who imo opinion will be Doubis. He punches too fast and too hard for Joyce who will be walking into his hit-box all the way through.

Hopefully Joyce will get rewarded for putting his zero on the line with another big fight against Whyte , Hrgovic or Hunter.

It will be good to see how DDD reacts to constant pressure and someone who can really bang, will his composure, chin and gas tank pass the test?

I've a hunch that DDD will be too fast and brutal for Joe and will get him out of there in the middle rounds to really announce himself to the World.

I don't usually agree with CST80, but this sums it up perfectly... I will always remember the Dubois who fought Lartey like a child holding back nothing... then Lartey fires back and Dubois backs up and flinches.

Joyce looks slow, but he hits hard. He is deceptively effective in the ring with his relentless pace, and big frame pushing out gruelling shots left right and centre. His chin is just durable AF.

Like you said if Lartey can have successes, Joyce will follow up.
