How has Billy Joe Saunders looked lately?

    Gotta be honest I haven’t seen him fight since he outboxed David Lemuiex. It seems he and Canelo are fighting next so I’m curious to know how he’s performed his last 2 or 3 fights.

    Billy Joe has only looked good in 1 fight in the last 5 years and that was against Lemeiux other than that he’s vastly underachieved giving his natural skill set.. He could suffer from the Fury syndrome where he fights to the level of his competition no matter how average or elite..

    It’s looking like the “Big Leagues” with Eddie is still gonna consist of those same lackluster WBO mandatories he got with Warren..

    Like the same one that everybody was discounting before the real Saunders showed up for the David Lemieux fight. Let's be honest, most of you would have a hard time getting excited fighting an Akavov or Coceres, and probably half ass your training camps as well.

    His style is wrong to beat Canelo. Of course, he can likely out point him. But fighting Canelo is a different sport. Unless BJS is training to sit down on his shots and try to take out Canelo, then Smith is the better guy for the job.
