Haye managed to avoid getting knocked out by Klitschko for 12 rounds even with the life threatening toe injury, so I think he could manage avoiding Bruno for 10 rounds and taking him out late.

I'd favour Haye forcing an up against the ropes battering a hunched over Bruno until the ref jumps in kind of stoppage.

That was Haye's personal best time for 10,000 metres against Wlad - all with a Toe injury.

    What a warrior

Haye via late TKO or UD. Most likely UD though.

Haye has proven that he can hang at the elite level at HW. He fell short against Wlad. But I feel he could put on a Valuev style win against Frank.

You can make an argument for either. Bruno was found badly wanting against fast-twitch guys (well, limited to Tyson I guess, but even the faded 96 version took Bruno apart). He fared better in upright boxing matches where he was able to establish that ramrod jab and impose his physical strength (and constant rabbit punching). Haye meanwhile was shut down completely by Kltischko's jab and size, and was clearly intimdated by Valuev's size (to be fair, he is a big ****er).

Haye isn't Tyson; Bruno isn't Klitschko. Stylistically though you can make a case for either being problematic for the other.

Haye's mindset is the key here. If he goes in like he did against Chisora this is his fight to win. There is the chance though that he comes in on the back foot, intimidated by Bruno's size and strength. We saw enough of Haye at heavyweight to gauge his level, but not really enough to establish how he coped with the full range of styles.

The scenario I see is Haye staying out of range and trying to potshot Bruno. I think he is slick enough to not get overwhelmed by Bruno, and at some point he will land a bomb and force a stoppage.

I used to think Bruno was huge as a kid...mad to think he was only same height as guys like Haye, Bellew, Usyk etc.

I met him when I was a kid, seemed like a giant to me at the time. Mind you, I was only about 4 foot tall then lol.

Really? Thought he was more like Dillian Whyte height? That’s blown my mind

Having googled he is apparently a cm shorter than Haye. That really changes how I view this fight.

That’s it, I mentioned it as Bruno’s size was being referenced as if he was this huge unit compared to Haye.

Probably not that big a size difference with mid 80s Bruno.

Mid 90s Bruno however looked like he’d just eaten mid 80s Bruno. The guy was huge and would have 30+lbs on Haye.

If they went Toe to Toe then I have to fancy Big Frank to splat PPV conman Haye. On the contrary, Haye could do an Anthony 'Hughie Fury' Klitschko-Joshua style and run away all fight to earn a points stinker.
