Ok, You are correct. However that was because Wallin took the fight to him. He had no choice LOL! His game is a low output. I don't expect for him to think he can outpace Wilder. Wallin landed more on Fury than Klitschko & Wilder combine 70 + & 50+ to Wallins 127. As accurate/or not Stats said Fury threw 600+ That is a rarerty for Fury.
He needs to push Wilder against the ropes and lean on him. Back him up and wear him done. The ref will be important in that regard.
Needs to stay as far away from Deontay as possible. Low output ultra defensive, long range jabs. Basically how he fought Wlad and Deontay in the first fight. He gets put to sleep if he tries throwing power punches.
I don't think he should be aggressive, but I do think that when the attack angles seem favorable, he shouldn't be afraid to sit on his punches a little more if he has the right positioning. This content is protected
This, mostly. He needs to keep the distance shortt to thwart Wilder's leverage. He won the boxing match last time, regardless of what the three blind mice ruled. As before, he just needs to avoid getting KO'd. A big need, but well within his capability.
Fury needs to keep the movement up. Wilder never got even close to landing until Fury got lazy/tired with his footwork and started almost exclusively and predictably only bending at the waist to dodge. Maybe pull the feints back just a little(because it is taxing) and replace that with more punches. With better technique, straighter, sharper, stronger straight rights, or left hook, he doesn’t have to throw much more, Wilder will get tired, he slowed down in the first fight, with a few more well placed shots you can break him down and have him reeling late, threatening a stoppage. If Fury comes in tremendous shape he can do something similar with a pressure/inside style, similar to what he used on Cunningham, leaning on him, but it’s a lot riskier early and he will likely have to walk through some shots.
He should fight like in the first bout he was superb.. with the only difference this time he has to press Wilder from the prime rounds in which Wilder cant express himself (I dont consider Wilders fights with Breazeale and Steverne2 because they showed zero defensive skills). Wilders style doesnt allow him to be hurting with A-level fighters in the beginning of the match. However I think there will be surprises from Fury...Joshua-Ruiz 2 has taught that HWs fighters of today can change their way of boxing adapting it to the circumstances better than in the past.
Fury has the blueprint, he just needs to fight the way he did last time and not clown or get careless. If he fights disciplined and focused, he should pitch a shutout. If he gets careless or too aggressive, he could get knocked out or at least knocked down. Fury can win an easy decision if he corrects the two mistakes he made last time and gives Wilder another boxing lesson. Easy money but it might be boring to some like AJs last fight. Fury is a little crazy and very unpredictable so you never know. Also, that eye cut pretty easy last fight. If he gets cut early it could make things more difficult. One more reason to be disciplined.
He fought an almost perfect fight last time. This time more of the same but he needs to put his foot on the gas more the second half of the fight. It's gonna be a very interesting fight. Less show boating and more boxing please. Boxer vs a puncher that can actually ko you with one punch is a good style match up. Seen a lot of boxers vs punchers that lack one punch power and they are boring fights. This will be exciting till the end.
