Well Dave Allen fans are always crying saying they don't want him to get hurt so they should love this fight. I genuinely laughed out loud...Allen vs Dorian Darch. Terrible!
Just watched the allen documentary. Hes a good lad dave...just wish he,d concentrate on his own career more. Its a dangerous sport. You cant play at boxing. Plenty of time to coach the young guys after its all over. Just looks like hes playing at boxing atm. With the utmost respect...needs to concentrate 100 percent on himself till he hangs them up. Talks of concussions etc. Hes still massively out of shape and looks like hes just in it to keep himself above ground level. Needs someone to take him onboard and get him doing things right instead of him trying to do it with these younger guys. Its comendable what hes doing...take my hat off to the man. But needs to hang them up then concentrate on the younger guys. Hes had a good go but essentially he couldn,t live the life to get the most out of himself. If you cant do that you need to get out before something goes terribly wrong. Nothing wrong with what hes doing with the kids...but he cant give up his time while trying to be a fighter at the same time. Its pretty much an all or nothing game. Everything points towards his heart not really being in doing whats required to be a professional fighter. He can be proud of what hes achieved but its time to get out now before its too late if its not already too late.

This is Danny Williams V2 If I got a concussion in the SPINE from punches in the face.. I'd quit, it screams Warning, that would scare the crap out of me, paralysed in the ambulance, taking an age to pass a medical. Also the fact he said "I felt like I was dying" and also "it happened BEFORE against Yoka". And we forget Ortiz when Allen was "funny" and said and swore he couldn't get wood for weeks/months after because of the beating he took. Actually that would have been enough for me, if I'm taking that much of a beating I'm not getting wood, nope, I quit, I'm not putting wood action at risk for anything. Yeah, this ends in tragedy, I hate to say it, but he will beat Darch, beat another poor fighter and then offer himself more up for decent money to fight Dubois or somebody like that and get smashed to pieces and seriously damaged. Hearn needs to have a word with himself, he says he cares for fighters but Allen is paralysed in an ambulance, the slurred speech, other problems and Hearn is still throwing him in the ring.
Maybe this is his last fight and he is letting the youngsters in to watch what needs to be put in a full camp. The other way is he just can't call it quits and thinks he can still do it. I'm sure he was favourite to beat David price last fight. He has had a tough career and his chin has been unbelievable. Unfortunately he has taken massive beatings because of his chin.
